I don't think we'll see another insurrection unless it's in support of a military coup, and that ain't gonna happen, no matter how much Flynn and all other Trump worshippers want it. The military "losers and suckers" don't support him and don't want him back.

I'm thinking we'll see terrorist incidents perpetrated by individuals or small groups. There are already lots of incidents of violence "in the name of Trump", with minorities especially being targeted.

I had a couple close relatives at the brink of death for following REPUBLICAN LIES about Covid. One still has serious, lingering breathing difficulty and still needs oxygen many months after being infected. You either trust T**** and REPUBLICAN LIES / BRAINWASHING about Covid ......................... or real medical experts who don't base their conclusions and advice on ANY political posturing.

Some ......... by their own choosing .......... have either gotten very seriously ill & have lifelong lingering after-effects, or DIED by choosing REPUBLICAN POLITICIANS' advice. Survivors have ENORMOUS medical bills to pay now too ................. IF they have decent medical insurance. No need for the Affordable Health Care Act ........... right??

I read that most of the people arrested for the insurrection will be offered plea deals.
I don’t agree with this, but I guess by doing this they are trying to hook the bigger fish.

 

Flynn is walking that back somewhat, and understandably so. While it might be hard to convict him of sedition in a civil court, it would be easier in a military court.
Flynn is retired, but if he is receiving a military pension he is subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
In theory, he could be reactivated and tried in a military court.

Note: the definition of treason is the act of levying war against the United States. Wasn’t the insurrection an act of war?
