Situation NORMAL for THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. Politicians bought and paid for by the filthy rich are expected to return the favor of their placement by repaying their benefactors with HUGE tax cuts. And because it's THE REPUBLICAN PARTY that rams such legislation through Congress .................... it's all "legal-like." The business community then bought the votes of their LEMMINGS with the idea of a $1000 "bonus" for the avg. American (sold as a result of the HUGE tax cut for the ultra-rich, CEO'S and top executives.) So while the ultra-rich get ANNUAL huge tax breaks to the tune of hundreds of billions ................ the avg. American got a 1-time $1000 bucks. You got a cracker ............ while the rich got the whole buffet with desserts and champagne. They get it EVERY YEAR going forward. Have you gotten your annual "bonus" ????? Big pay raises as were promised as a result of the big tax overhaul????? Any profit-sharing every year?????

How MANY avg. Republican working-class people were suckered into THE REPUBLICAN PARTY'S LIES about who would be beneficiaries of their "tax overhaul" ???? And also T****'S promise to bring back high-paying manufacturing jobs to the U.S. from overseas - that didn't happen either. (see above reference to the cracker vs. full buffet with desserts & champagne.) Oooooooooh .......................... that HAS to sting ........................... being suckered like that.

Report: Trump’s Justice Department Spied on at Least Five Reporters From Outlets Trump Despised

"On Thursday night, it emerged that Trump’s Justice Department had obtained CNN reporter Barbara Starr’s email and phone records covering a period of two months between June and July 2017. In a letter informing her of the secret surveillance, Joe Biden’s DOJ listed phone numbers for Starr’s Pentagon extension, her home and cell numbers, the CNN Pentagon booth phone number, and her work and personal email accounts. It’s not clear why the Trump administration wanted to know who Starr was corresponding with; according to CNN, during the timeframe the letter listed, Starr reported on U.S. military options in North Korea, as well as stories on Afghanistan and Syria. In a statement, CNN president Jeff Zucker said the network “strongly condemns the secret collection of any aspect of a journalist's correspondence, which is clearly protected by the First Amendment,” adding, “we are asking for an immediate meeting with the Justice Department for an explanation.”

The Starr revelation comes just weeks after it was reported that three Washington Post reporters who covered the FBI’s Russia investigation had their phone records obtained by Trump’s DOJ, which followed the 2018 disclosure from the DOJ that it had obtained email and phone communications of a reporter for Politico, BuzzFeed, and The New York Times who had written articles about Russia. Meanwhile, earlier this week court filings showed that the DOJ had subpoenaed Twitter in November 2020 in an attempt to learn the identity of the person behind a parody account that criticized Rep. Devin Nunes, a major Trump ally."

Apparently, Trump is starting a summer of MAGA rallies, and the Democratic strategists are in "heaven"...

According to some Democratic Strategists noted by NBC News, they've watched his poll numbers getting lower and lower and lower (32% at last count). So while the "die-hard" Trump fans are more loyal than ever, the crazier it gets the more the Republican party shrinks. Plus they wipe out the center right and swing Republican voters completely.

Plus the RNC strategists are worried because, of course, he doesn't give a damn about whatever the Republican "messaging strategy" currently is. He only cares about himself. And the RNC gets hijacked accordingly.

The claim is that he's gotten even crazier than ever, with no one in the White House to even attempt to temper him. And they figure that letting him do his hours long rambling speeches of how he will restored as the rightful President by August, along with all of the rest of his latest conspiracy theories, is the best thing that could happen to Democrats. They figure the more press coverage the better.

Prosecutors told Judge Randolph Moss they would drop the four misdemeanor charges against Paul Allard Hodgkins in exchange for the defendant’s guilty plea on the obstruction charge, his only felony count, which carries a statutory maximum penalty of up to 20 years in prison.

Attorneys for both the defense and the prosecution said the guidelines were likely to call for a 15 to 21 month sentence for Hodgkins.
