    I will have my second Vaccine shot this coming Sunday .

    The more people that take the vaccine the quicker our Freedoms return .Probably like everyone else I am getting to that stage now were I am fed up of tiptoeing around people.

    Incidentally all of the people that are intensive care ( 8 I last heard) in my local hospital with Covid are those that havn't had the vaccine . To be fair some havnt been offered it as yet .

    It varies from county to county .

    Your best bet is to google your own health authority that covers your area .

    I have no idea. Here in Mexico I had no choice. They are giving Pfizer to some, I got Astra-Zeneca. They also are giving out Sinovac and something from China that I would not take if offered. I have no trust in Chinese or Russian vaccines.

    Happy to say I have had no side effects.

    Well Pfizer seems to be the "best" at first glance BUT ofc,,, we have to take the one they have handy to stick in out arm... This annoys me.

    Second dose went fine for me.

    Too many people refusing it, making herd immunity a difficult task.

    I don't understand.

    They'd get polio vaccines, etc., right?

    I agree, but am also amazed they have got it together to even give the vacuna.

    Here in Baja Sur it goes by age group, oldest first. I am 68 so I got in the second group, and have now had both doses of Astra-Zeneca.

    Not knowing your age, I can't say when you could get it, but I hope soon!

    We will never reach herd immunity if too many people refuse to get the vacuna. Polio, typhoid, tetanus, pneumonia, so many things are eliminated with a vacuna so I so not understand why people don't want it ... I believe they must be victims of disinformation.

    Disinformation is usually spread to create social chaos and confusion. It is a tactic also known as propaganda when used in different ways.

    Yes I agree .This is happening in Europe already . Whilst our own Government are actively discouraging travel both France and Spain are welcoming UK tourists who have had both vaccinations. Closer to home having both vaccinations cuts out the red tape for visiting the Channel Islands with no test required .

    This will be the way forward until the virus is fully supressed .

    Here they give us a silly piece of paper. In Spanish. Not much of a vaccine passport, I hope it is recognized as valid when I do travel.

    If only it worked that way. Children and immuno-comromised adults rely upon us to develop sufficient herd immunity to keep them safe. Uncontrolled spread can give rise to vaccine-resistant variants, and that may drag the rest of us down with them.
