And it doesn’t need to stop there- they need to investigate McConnell as well as several other GOP members

They all have done dirty deeds under the comfort and protection of the Trump presidency- and are afraid to get exposed for it. That’s why McConnell wants to stop the investigations.

If Ivanka Trump was found guilty and sentenced to the Federal Pen. She would likely do time at Federal Prison Camp Alderson (dubbed by the press Camp Cupcake) where Martha Stewart was housed for 5 months.

You'd likely see similar signs posted along the roadside when Ivanka Trump is released.

Do you think Ivanka, Eric, and Don Jr would turn on Trump Sr., to keep themselves out of prison?

No, not with the prospect of being disowned and dis-inherited.

Trump still has an army out there and they would be hounded constantly by loyalists

You’re right- I forgot about the disinherited piece that he could definitely use as a bargaining chip. “You go down for this, and I promise you’ll stand to gain tenfold to your inheritance for the inconvenience”

I think the true test is if they find out how much time they would have to serve.

    Biden and Putin met recently.

When Trump met with Putin, he blamed the U.S. for raising the issue of foreign interference in the U.S. election. Trump said he believed Putin because he was so adamant in his denial.

The 2018 Trump-Putin summit: Let's not forget what happened - CNNPolitics

"I hold both countries responsible," Trump said in response to a question from the American press about Russia's interference. "I think that the United States has been foolish. We've all been foolish. We're all to blame."

He later added that Putin "was extremely strong and powerful in his denials" of election meddling. And this: "My people came to me, [former Director of National Intelligence] Dan Coats came to me and some others, they said they think it's Russia. I have President Putin; he just said it's not Russia. I will say this: I don't see any reason why it would be." (Trump later clarified that he meant "wouldn't" rather than "would" in that last sentence.)

Not one Republican officeholder objecting to Biden's victory have objected to their own wins, on the same day, on the same ballots, using the same election systems.

Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen and acting Solicitor General Jeffrey Wall.

Many actors in the Trump administration.

It's difficult to run an administration using such an approach, but Trump said he preferred it because he said it gave him flexibility.

Trump also said that he thought it was better to let the press vet his own appointees. He said it was more efficient that way because his administration had to spend less time on it.

Trump put great confidence in the press that he said was fake to vet his own appointees.

Prison is for commoners, and Donald Duck is proof conservatives are succeeding in keeping it that way!

Rep. Clyde refused to shake hands with police officer Fanone who protected him from Trump's mob.

Fanone was beaten with flagpoles and tased by Trump's rioters. He suffered a heart attack.

Clyde was seen in an image helping police place a large credenza at an entrance door to the House chamber to protect themselves from what Clyde would later refer to as Trump's 'tourists'.

GOP Rep. Refused to Shake Hands With Officer Who Defended Capitol on Jan. 6

    excerpt:

"A Republican member of Congress refused to shake the hand of a police officer who defended the Capitol on Jan. 6 while the two rode an elevator together Wednesday. Officer Michael Fanone, who was beaten unconscious and suffered a heart attack as a result of fighting during the Capitol riot, had come to Capitol Hill to speak to members of Congress who voted against awarding the Congressional Gold Medal to Capitol Police officers who responded to the attack. Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) was one such member, and when Fanone stepped into an elevator with him, Clyde refused to greet Fanone. The officer said, “I knew immediately he recognized me by the way he reacted. He completely froze. He just stared at me.” And then after Fanone explained why he was there, he said, Clyde “turned away from me, pulled out his cellphone and started thumbing through the apps.” Clyde has become one of the most revisionist voices on the Capitol riot, voting against the Gold Medal and calling the attempted insurrection a “normal tourist visit.”"

Capitol stormer 'Yankee Patriot' made over 100 threatening phone calls to 911 the day before the riot_ court documents

    excerpt:

"Jonathan Joshua Munafo, who identified himself as "Yankee Patriot" on the calls, threatened a dispatcher, telling her that he was going to kill her if he wasn't allowed to speak to a police officer. According to an FBI statement of facts, Munafo punched a Capitol Police officer, used a flagpole to attempt to break windows at the Capitol, and stole a police officer's a riot shield. He's accused of placing the calls from North Carolina using an online number.

"B----, I'm gonna cut your throat. I'm gonna make you eat your f---ing nose. I'm gonna hurt you bad for this. It won't be today, it won't be tomorrow, it'll be f---ing soon, though, you stupid c---. Insurrection Act, I'm coming to your door first, and it's public knowledge, you stupid, stupid b----," he told the dispatcher.":
