480 arrested in Capitol riot case, including at least 53 who have served in the military By Clare Hymes, Cassidy McDonald, Eleanor Watson Updated on: June 18, 2021 / 6:45 PM / CBS News 480 arrested in Capitol riot case, including at least 53 who have served in the military excerpt: America watched as hordes of rioters broke into the U.S. Capitol on January 6 — crushing through windows, pressing up stairways, and sending lawmakers and law enforcement running for their lives. The flood of protesters who streamed into the Capitol that day left federal authorities with an equally immense task: finding and charging those responsible. Attorney General Merrick Garland said Tuesday that more than 480 defendants had been arrested in connection with the attack. The government has also indicated in court that prosecutors expect to charge up to 550 people total. Prosecutors have called the case "unprecedented" in scale, and the government said in a March court filing that the Capitol attack "is likely the most complex investigation ever prosecuted by the Department of Justice."
480 arrested in Capitol riot case, including at least 53 who have served in the military excerpt: "Charges include assaults on officers, destruction of government property and conspiracy More than 130 defendants have been charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding officers or employees, including more than 40 who were charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer, the Department of Justice said. In total, CBS News has found that more than 150 officers were injured in the attack, according to sources on Capitol Hill and the Capitol Police union, as well as testimony from Metropolitan Police Chief Chief Robert Contee. At least 35 defendants have been charged with conspiracy, a charge that alleges defendants coordinated with others to commit an offense. They include four alleged Three Percenters, 16 Oath Keepers who were indicted together in a single conspiracy case and 15 members or affiliates of the Proud Boys, who were charged in four separate conspiracy cases."

Of those, one is an active duty service member, four are current part-time troops in the Army Reserve or National Guard, and 48 previously served in the military, according to attorney statements, military service records and court documents obtained by CBS News. At least 23 have served in the U.S. Marines, 20 have served in the Army, two served in the Navy and two served in the Air Force. One defendant, Jeffrey McKellop, was a communications sergeant with the Army Special Forces, a group known colloquially as the Green Berets. The Army Reserve shared the following statement with CBS News: "The U.S. Army Reserve takes all allegations of Soldier or Army civilian involvement in extremist groups seriously and will address this issue in accordance with Army regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice to ensure due process. Extremist ideologies and activities directly oppose our values and beliefs and those who subscribe to extremism have no place in our ranks.""
They All F*cking Hate Me!’ Trump Ranted About ‘The Blacks’ After His Response to George Floyd Unrest Then-President Donald Trump regretted not taking a harder line against protesters in the wake of the late George Floyd’s death, lamenting that “the Blacks” hated him and would never vote for him anyway. “‘I’ve done all this stuff for the Blacks — it’s always Jared telling me to do this,’ Trump said to one confidante on Father’s Day. ‘And they all f—— hate me, and none of them are going to vote for me.’” Well we do hate him. Biden: 88% of the Black Male vote Trump:12% of the Black Male vote Biden: 91% of the Black Female vote Trump; 9% of the Black Female vote Trump needed 25% of the black vote to win, not even close
53 of Trump's protesters were from the military and 12 were police. It shows the ability of Trump to twist the minds of people who took an oath to protect their own country to attack it to try to stop Congress from certifying a legitimate election.
It was difficult for the Trump and his staff to cite an example of a black person in his administration at the 3rd tier level or higher. During the BLM protests, Trump made the remark "When the looting starts, the shooting starts." With those types of attributes, he couldn't expect to have a significant black electorate.
Lisa Murkowski: This GOP senator is now Enemy No. 1 for Trump - CNNPolitics excerpt: "Murkowski has said little about Trump (or Tshibaka) to date. And while Trump's popularity within the GOP base is unquestioned -- and would worry any candidate on the other side of his endorsement -- there are reasons to believe Murkowski still has a solid chance of winning. 1) She's a very well-known name: Murkowski has been in office since 2002. Her father, Frank, had previously served in the Senate and as governor. 2) Alaska has an open primary: Thanks to recent election law changes in the Last Frontier, there will be a single primary in Alaska next year, with the top four vote-getters -- regardless of party -- advancing to the general election. 3) Alaska has ranked-choice voting: Voters will be allowed to rank their candidate choices from 1st to 4th. If Murkowski (or anyone else) can't get to 50%, the last-choice candidate will be eliminated and their votes divvied up based on who their voters ranked second on their ballots. The belief is that a ranked-choice system, which is still in its infancy, helps moderates like Murkowski. To be clear: It is not an easy road to reelection for Murkowski. And Trump's active backing of Tshibaka complicates it even more. But she's not a lost cause just yet."

Arizona Sham Auditors Transport Voting System Data To Secret Montana Hideout Mary Papenfuss Fri, June 18, 2021, 7:32 AM Arizona Sham Auditors Transport Voting System Data To Secret Montana Hideout excerpt: "In the latest development in the partisan Republican “audit” of Arizona presidential votes, voting system data has been taken to a secret hideout in Montana. An unsupervised driver transported copies of ballot data in a truck to a cabin in the community of Bigfork in northwest Montana, several media outlets reported. The state Senate Republican liaison has “confirmed that copies of voting system data was sent to a ‘lab’ in Montana,” an observer wrote earlier this month on an “SOS” website set up by the office of Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D). “He did not specify what security measures were in place, or what the lab in Montana will do with the data, or how long it will be in possession of the copies,” added the note. Hobbs, who’s running for governor, called the Montana operation “madness.” She said audit organizers promised a “transparent” operation with cameras. “There was no camera in a cabin in Montana,” she said. “You can’t make this stuff up,” Hobbs told CNN, which refers to the operation as a “fraudit.” “If it wasn’t happening right in front of our eyes, we wouldn’t believe it was happening.”"
The GOP has now enlisted the services of the Honeycomb Hideout to try to prove the election was stolen from Trump.
Compliance with the law hasn't been a consideration of Trump and his following. In their minds, their fantasies are the law to be dictated onto others.
The GOP now claims that Trump's January 6 riot at the Capitol was organized by FBI operatives (who were hanging out in the Honeycomb Hideout).
This gets stupider as time goes by. They really need to get that independent investigation going ASAP!
