I have never given the human race credit for it's intelligence and today's rape-publicans prove my point without a doubt. They are mindless, uninformed, ignorant, brainwashed (what little they have) lemmings that would follow their "orange god" to the depths of hell with no concern for their own well-being.
Remember those hundreds of Trump flotillas last year? Trump Boat Parades Left Untold Destruction in Their Wake It’s been a year since the Trump flotilla phenomenon swept through the nation’s lakes and bays. Law enforcement agents, rally organizers, claim these events often got out of control, causing more crashes and near-misses than previously known. In Tennessee alone, the state’s database shows that Trump flotillas made up a third of all “congested water” accidents there last year. National figures aren’t available that identify events as Trump flotillas, but a state-by-state review of incident reports in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas showed that most accidents never made the news.
Trump didn't think that tax evasion charges against Leona Helmsley were prosecutorial misconduct. He applauded it.
Sarasota, FL was the winter home of Ringling Bros. circus. It's an appropriate location for Trump campaign comeback rallies.
They Were Not Tourists: The Radicals At The Heart Of The Capitol Riot excerpt: "In the six months since the dramatic conflict at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, large parts of the Republican Party, working alongside the right-wing media machine, have labored to make the case that what happened that day was no big deal. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) argued that it was not an insurrection, but a “largely peaceful protest.” Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) — who can be seen in photos from Jan. 6 looking horrified as he rushed to barricade the House gallery doors to stop the rioters from entering — called the riot a “normal tourist visit.” Fox News megastar Tucker Carlson has even asserted that perhaps the uprising was a false flag event orchestrated by the FBI. There were indeed some people at the Capitol who were basically harmless and have claimed they didn’t realize what would happen. A 49-year-old Indiana woman was sentenced this week in federal court on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge for being inside the Capitol for only 10 minutes, during which she didn’t break anything or assault anyone, prosecutors say. She won’t serve prison time. “I would have never been there if I had known it would turn out that way,” she said at her sentencing, while apologizing to the “American people.” Later that day, however, another man pleaded guilty to far more serious charges. Graydon Young of Sarasota, Florida, faces up to 78 months in prison for conspiring with members of the far-right Oath Keepers militia to overrun the Capitol and stop electoral votes from being counted. He will cooperate with authorities in cases against his co-conspirators. Young’s case points to a fundamental, terrifying fact about Jan. 6: A dedicated core of bad actors, from architects of the “Stop the Steal” rally to a wide range of extremists and militia members, came to Washington to derail the democratic process. And it almost worked."
DeSantis had enough sense to not attend Trump's Sarasota rally. Trump didn't mention DeSantis at his rally.
Donald Trump Jr. Concedes Felony Count In Indictment Against Dad's Company Is True | HuffPost excerpt: "According to federal prosecutors, the tuition money was part of Weisselberg’s salary — not charity from Trump. It was paid directly to the school so the Trump Organization could dodge payroll taxes on the money and Weisselberg could shirk income taxes, according to the indictment. “The payment of tuition expenses for Weisselberg’s family members constituted employee compensation and taxable income” to Weisselberg that was “treated as part of Weisselberg’s annual compensation in internal records maintained by the Trump Corporation,” the indictment says. It was not, however, reported as income, prosecutors noted, and Weisselberg allegedly avoided paying taxes on nearly $360,000 paid directly as tuition. The tuition was one of many similar “off the books” pay arrangements, the indictment alleges."
The writing was on the wall five months ago just after Trump left office and was no longer able to use the presidency to shield himself from turning over documents related to his business. The Donald Trump Score Card
A GOP senator of the Oregon state legislature acted like a little child who became upset when he was told that he should eat his vegetables and threw them across the dining room. Far-right protesters disrupt Oregon Legislature special session excerpt: "That last rule led to tension in the Senate Monday morning, when state Sen. Dallas Heard, R-Roseburg, objected to statewide mask requirements. Heard accused his colleagues of being involved in a “campaign against the people and the children of God.” Heard expressed anger at the mask mandate in the state Capitol, ripped his mask off and left the floor. “If you had not done such great evil to my people and had simply asked me to wear my mask, I would have,” he said. “But you commanded it, and therefore I declare my right to protests against your false authority and remove my mask.”"
Such an act conjures images of a TV evangelist with a group of people on stage tearing off their face masks at the command of the evangelist, like the publicity stunt they do when having a person stand up from a wheelchair as if he had been miraculously cured of being totally lame when he wasn't totally lame from the start.
Trump did a similar publicity stunt after leaving the hospital after becoming seriously ill with the coronavirus. He walked up the steps of the White House while gasping for breath and tore off his face mask.
People like that are just lucky their cult leaders don't tell them to march off a cliff-----oh wait ---there may be a comet approaching----
After Trump is deceased, someone can start a truther narrative about a comet passing by that is the only train to be with Trump for eternity that can be boarded by committing suicide.
Believe it or not, Oregon is one of the few states that still have meaningful politics, because both the left and right wing have a tradition of threatening to burn down the legislature. Their popcorn needs more butter, or they wouldn't get off the couch so often.
That's how disease spreads, in churches where they don't wear masks. Sometimes it spreads at motorcycle events and Trump clown shows.
I'm surprised trump didn't lose his mind over the fact that DeSantis appeared quite cordial towards President Biden during his visit to the site of the condo collapse
