    Convicted of attempted murder.

Considering Trump nearly had Mike Pence murdered on the day of the Capitol riot for not breaking the law for him, Curzio is another prospective staffer for a second term of Trump.

Trump caused the threat on Mike Pence's life and didn't do anything about it for hours as the riot that Trump caused ensued.

Because Curzio was convicted of both his crimes in Florida, DeSantis can potentially pardon him as part of the Free Our Patriots campaign.

‘Free Our Patriots Rally’ planned in Florida to push for release of jailed Capitol riot defendants

    excerpt:

"Republicans in Florida, the state with the most residents to face charges for the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, plan to rally Saturday for the release of all defendants currently held on related counts.

Luis Miguel, a self-described “pro-Trump patriot” planning to primary Sen. Marco Rubio, said his “Free Our Patriots Rally in Tally” will happen in the afternoon near the Florida state Capitol in Tallahassee.

“The patriots who have been hunted down by the corrupt, communist FBI are suffering. Many of them are veterans who fought for this nation. Let’s do our part to ensure they’re liberated,” said Mr. Miguel.

Calling the accused rioters “peaceful protesters” currently being held as “political prisoners by the U.S. government,” Mr. Miguel said rallygoers will urge elected officials to “fight for their release.”"

As George Conway said in that video, nothing satisfies Trump.

His administration was full of enablers who thought that Trump would eventually become reasonable about issues for which they were enabling him in an effort to protect their own jobs.

Even before Trump became president, people were saying that he would grow into the job and become more disciplined.

Early in Trump's term, Rumsfeld, who died recently, called publicly for people to cut Trump some slack, mistakenly thinking, like others, that he would grow into the job.

Frank Cerabino, a resident and journalist in FL who has observed Trump for decades, knew long ago that nothing satisfies Trump. He was pursuing the biggest flagpole or the biggest party.

    Article from 2015:

    Trump's War With Palm Beach
For Palm Beachers, watching Trump claw and bluster his way through the Republican primary has a familiar ring.

    Trump's War With Palm Beach

    excerpt:

"The thing with Trump is that he’s always at war, a man on a mission to get the next thing, whether it’s the biggest pole, the best social gathering of the season, or the idea that the rest of America should be calling him “Mr. President.”

And woe be to those who get in his way."

0:25: Trump asking the audience if anyone knows if he was supposed to pay taxes on all those items.

That's Trump, the one who said he knows taxes better than the world's best CPA.

A 7-point-plan to reinstate Donald Trump as president 'in days, not years' was handed out at CPAC

    excerpt:

"The outlandish plan involves ousting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and eventually installing Donald Trump in her place.

Donald Trump as Speaker would then call for a vote to impeach, charge, and remove "imposters" President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

As the Speaker of the House is third in the line of presidential succession, Trump would then take up the presidency again in this highly improbable scenario.

The plan hinges upon Republicans regaining control of the House, which they plan to do by pulling back the curtain on "the horror show" of the Democrat Party, causing groups such as the Black Caucus to "flip" sides."

    Ivanka's consulting fees.

Trump paid his daughter Ivanka $747,622 for 'consulting,' then deducted it from his taxes, according to a New York Times investigation

    excerpt:

"A New York Times investigation into President Donald Trump's tax filings found that from 2010 to 2018, Trump wrote off about $26 million in unexplained consulting fees.

Among them was $747,622 written off by the Trump Organization, the same amount his daughter Ivanka Trump reported receiving in consulting fees, according to The Times."

Why Are Republican Governors Sending National Guard to the Border?

    excerpt:

"So who’s paying for this? Normally, when Washington requests National Guard members at the border, Washington pays. Otherwise, state taxpayers are on the line for funding their National Guard and law enforcement like highway patrol. Texas has offered to reimburse at least some states who send law enforcement through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact, a preexisting resource-sharing agreement between states. But also, in a bizarre and unprecedented turn of events, a billionaire Republican megadonor from Tennessee has paid for some of the deployment. Willis Johnson, through the Willis and Reba Johnson’s Foundation, donated $1 million directly to the state of South Dakota to fund National Guard troops on the border.

Is that even allowed? A state lawmaker says it’s legal, but security experts have called the moved unethical and dangerous. “You certainly don’t want our national security priorities up to the highest bidder,” Mandy Smithberger of the Project on Government Oversight told the Washington Post.

OK. But why is this all happening in the first place? Governors Abott and Doucey might genuinely feel that their states are in crisis. But yes, there are politics: The Republican Party’s midterm strategy is clearly going to be hammering Biden on his, in their words, “open-border policies.” Positioning truckloads of cops and National Guard on the border certainly helps create the appearance of crisis."

Hundreds of Texans line up to testify over GOP's voting bill in the special legislative session

    excerpt:

"The Republican-controlled Texas Legislature is working rapidly in its second bid to pass new restrictions on voting, considering legislation in overlapping committee hearings that are expected to go late into the night.

Nearly 300 members of the public were signed up to testify on the legislation that makes up the GOP’s renewed effort to further tighten state voting rules. The House committee is expected to vote to advance its bill at the end of its hearing, putting the bill on a path to be voted on by the full chamber next week.

The legislation filed in each chamber is similar to the GOP priority voting bill from the spring regular legislative session that prompted Democrats’ to walk out and break quorum. That action effectively killed the bill, prompting Gov. Greg Abbott to call the special session that began Thursday. In Senate Bill 1 and House Bill 3, Republicans have already dulled some of the edges of the legislation, dropping controversial provisions to restrict Sunday voting hours and to make it easier for judges to overturn elections."

Do you remember the 'social studies' and 'history' textbooks we used in junior high & high school? Remember reading of the proud tradition of the people electing presidents through the greatest process in the concept of democracy.....free elections?

Now, think of these textbooks in say, 50 years, if the GOP succeeds in getting Trump back in the saddle. Yes, it's highly doubtful this will happen, yet I would have called it impossible that the voters of this country could elect a fool like Donald Trump as president just 5 short years ago, and look at all the damage it has caused & continues to cause.

Kids in 50 years will be reading about presidents being 'reinstated' and 'restored' to the office.....not elected.

Needless to say, the Republican voters couldn't care less about the ramifications of what this will do to the democratic principles we've lived by......all they know is that they want their precious Trump to be president again. What this would do to the electoral process for future elections is of absolutely no concern to them.

In addition to the negative implications of what American will become now, I also feel for the children of the future who learn what the country used to be like.......and is no more.

Yes, I know that this post is a bit too dramatic. Still, if the GOP somehow succeeds in getting Trump reinstated, you can bet this will be the last election in which votes are counted and the winner is the person that gets the majority.
