Wife's libido during menapause has dwindled considerably. What to expect now?

Things have gotten even better. The wife is now suggesting intimacy and asking me to bring her off through cunnilingus. There is a silicone based product available over the counter called "Platinum". It is by far the best lube we have found. It was recommended by my wife's GYN. This product does not dry out like most do and last a long time. Might need a bit of a second application if going for marathon encounter but coupled with natural lube is usually enough.

Another point that interested me. Her gyn told her to quite douching so much. She was going through about 6, or one a day in a week. To much when not needed, I can tell it seems to be healthier and a healthy one is happy one.

Yes, I'm still around! I don't come here often. Just had a break in work lately so have been poking around. My wife and I are doing great. She's back, though with a slight decrease in her need to orgasm. Just before menopause, she would want to get off once or more per week. Now she's good to go for around 10 days before she gets the itch. When she's ready though, she is ready!! She gets quite wet and her orgasms are regularly more intense than they used to be. And in between those good times, we have regular sex about 3-4 nights per week to help us both sleep. Life is good!

I'm in a similar boat as what you initially posted. Menopause hit a couple years back. I don't feel like she's rebounded much. But she thinks her drive is "back to normal for her age" and mine is "abnormal". :-D

Trying to figure out what to do. And me trying to talk about it only irritates her.
