One of the beds I spotted today. There was a bluegill in there when I walked up to it. She later came back after I stood very still for awhile.
I love fishing myself. I haven't really been going much this year due to all the rain we've been getting practically everyday. I think this is the 1st weekend where I can actually get out on the water that has recovered from all the rain.
Because of it's toxic nature, the importation of puffer fish into the United States is heavily regulated
My 9 year old grandson came over yesterday and said, "Granddaddy, can we go fishing?" I told him it was 96 degrees, but he insisted, so we grabbed some worms and headed to the pond. We only fished about 45 minutes and caught three bass and ten bream. Then he decided it was too hot to fish. I agreed.
Some days are like that. On hot days. I opt to go to the river and walk right in and fly fish up stream letting it drift down.
BAAAHAHAHA!! Ok, I shouldn't think that's funny, but it is. It also explains why a lot of bear scat has those jingely bells in it that hikers use.
