Why is it that there was only “fraud” in the races that the democrats won? If the truth was told I bet there was fraud in the races republicans won.

I’d be willing to bet that most of the rioters did not vote.

Gym owner pleads guilty to assaulting officer in Jan. 6 riot

    excerpt:

"A New Jersey gym owner on Friday became the first person to plead guilty to assaulting a law enforcement officer during the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Scott Kevin Fairlamb’s deal with federal prosecutors could be a benchmark for dozens of other cases in which Capitol rioters clashed with police. Fairlamb’s attorney said prosecutors will recommend a prison sentence ranging from about 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 years, but the judge isn’t bound by that term of the plea agreement.

His plea comes less than two weeks after a group of police officers testified at a congressional hearing about their harrowing confrontations with the mob of insurrectionists. Five officers who were at the Capitol that day have died, four of them by suicide. The Justice Department has said that rioters assaulted approximately 140 police officers on Jan. 6. About 80 of them were U.S. Capitol Police officers and about 60 were from the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department.

Fairlamb, 44, a former mixed martial arts fighter whose brother is a U.S. Secret Service agent, was one of the very first rioters to breach the Capitol after other rioters smashed windows using riot shields and kicked out a locked door, according to federal prosecutors. After leaving the building, Fairlamb harassed a line of police officers, shouting in their faces and blocking their progress through the mob, prosecutors wrote in a court filing."

Trump's rioters are blaming the police for provoking them.

Fourth officer who defended US Capitol dies by suicide | wusa9.com

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON — Four law enforcement officers who responded to the Capitol insurrection have now died by suicide, a sobering toll which doubled on Monday, after Metropolitan Police confirmed two of the department’s officers who responded on January 6 recently took their own lives.

Officer Kyle DeFreytag served in the city’s 5th District and was at the Capitol to enforce curfew violations, Metropolitan Police confirmed. Chief Robert J. Contee III sent a message to the police force notifying personnel of DeFreytag’s death last month.

“I am writing to share tragic news that Officer Kyle DeFreytag of the 5th District was found deceased last evening,” Contee wrote in a mid-July message to the department. “This is incredibly hard news for us all, and for those that knew him best.”

The confirmation of DeFreytag’s death came hours after a spokeswoman for MPD said Officer Gunther Hashida was found dead at his residence last Thursday. Hashida, who joined the department in May 2003, was most recently assigned to the department’s Emergency Response Team."

Trump's riot at the Capitol to date caused or contributed to nine deaths.

    Four were his protesters.

Five were police officers. Four of them died by suicide and one due to a stroke.

Gym owner pleads guilty to assaulting officer in Jan. 6 riot

    excerpt:

"Another video captured Fairlamb shoving and punching a police officer in the head after he left the Capitol, according to an FBI agent’s affidavit.

“As a former MMA fighter, the defendant was well aware of the injury he could have inflicted on (the officer),” prosecutors wrote. “His actions and words on that day all indicate a specific intent to obstruct a congressional proceeding through fear, intimidation, and violence, including violence against uniformed police officers.”

Fairlamb’s brother was one of the Secret Service agents assigned to protect first lady Michelle Obama, Breite said."

The government should regulate cellphones, and ensure they can all take good mug shots.

Donald Duck is still a free man, because he never has to hide. Both republicans and democrats have spent the last twenty years systematically shredding the constitution, and I really don't think anyone cares about it much anymore. Nostalgia for the good old days is a killer in politics, especially when you only have one functional political party.

Covington man accused in U.S. Capitol riot arrested on new, unrelated charges

    excerpt:

"Less than a month after a Covington man charged in the U.S. Capitol riot was placed on house arrest, he faces new charges of assaulting a member of his household.

Prosecutors cited the charges Friday in asking that bond for Joshua Dillon Haynes be revoked while he awaits trial in Washington, D.C.’s federal court.

Later in the day, U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael Harvey wrote that he had already ordered Haynes’ arrest on July 30, based on an earlier report that he had violated the conditions of his bond. A hearing will be held later on whether his bond should be revoked.

Haynes, 39, currently is being held in the Allegheny Regional Jail on charges of malicious wounding, strangulation and multiple misdemeanor charges of assaulting a family member.

Should Harvey revoke a federal bond that required Haynes to stay out of trouble while on home arrest, he would remain in jail on the insurrection charges even if he was released on the state charges."

Covington man accused in U.S. Capitol riot arrested on new, unrelated charges

    excerpt:

"According to federal court filings, Haynes was captured on video destroying equipment belonging to the news media outside the Capitol before entering the building with a horde of other Trump supporters.

“They had to run away from us and leave all their equipment so we destroyed it,” read a text attributed to Haynes that was included in an affidavit in Roanoke’s federal court following his arrest.

“i Kicked the fake news ass,” he allegedly wrote.

Haynes was also photographed wearing a mask while standing in the office of an unidentified U.S. senator, according to court filings.

He is charged with destruction of property, entering the Capitol without permission, disorderly conduct and obstructing an official proceeding."

Yet, because of who hired them, their prejudice toward the Republican side, the flawed methods they've been employing and the botches they've made in their search, how can their final report indicate anything but that they believe Trump won the election?

And if they do that,Trump & his supporters will be claiming total vindication. ("See? We wuz rite!")

Instead of falling into a clusterf**k like that, I wonder if the whole project will be called off before they issue their findings. Y'know, where they announce that the Democrats broke into their headquarters (!) and stole key files, forcing them to abandon the project before it's completion.

Yes, that sounds ridiculous......but if it happens, remember that you read about Ninja-gate here first. :)
