A man in Colorado suspected in wife's death used her name to vote twice for Trump. Man suspected in wife's death cast ballot in her name, court docs say
Trump supporters refuse to see the irony behind his choice on how to handle the infrastructure issue. After all, he doesn't believe in compromise, which is what this initiative is all about. To him, compromise is 'losing.' Those who practice it are 'weak.' He wants only to win. Getting things done for the country means nothing to him. Only winning.
US settles with Trump admin whistleblower who exposed botched COVID response excerpt: "Details of the settlement were not officially released. "But Dr. Bright's lawyer, Debra S. Katz, said her client had been compensated to the fullest extent allowed by the law," The New York Times wrote. "She said he will receive back pay, as well as damages to cover the costs of private security and temporary housing that he required after receiving threats. He will also receive compensation, Ms. Katz said, for distress 'associated with the disparaging comments and threats' made by administration officials including [President] Trump, who had blasted Dr. Bright on Twitter as a 'creep' and a 'disgruntled employee.'""
Article about infrastructure from May 2019. Trump, Angered by ‘Phony’ Inquiries, Blows Up Meeting With Pelosi and Schumer By Peter Baker, Katie Rogers and Emily Cochrane May 22, 2019 Trump, Angered by ‘Phony’ Inquiries, Blows Up Meeting With Pelosi and Schumer (Published 2019) excerpt: "WASHINGTON — President Trump abruptly blew up a meeting with Democratic congressional leaders on Wednesday, declaring that he could not work with them until they stopped investigating him and lashing out at Speaker Nancy Pelosi for accusing him of a cover-up. He then marched out into the Rose Garden, where reporters had been gathered, and delivered a statement bristling with anger as he demanded that Democrats “get these phony investigations over with.” He said they could not legislate and investigate simultaneously. “We’re going to go down one track at a time,” he said. The tempestuous clash between Mr. Trump and Ms. Pelosi suggested that efforts to forge bipartisan legislation on issues — already a long shot — may effectively be frozen for the foreseeable future while the president and his opponents wage war over the various investigations now underway."
Trump, Angered by ‘Phony’ Inquiries, Blows Up Meeting With Pelosi and Schumer (Published 2019) excerpt: “I knew he was looking for a way out,” Ms. Pelosi concluded. “We were expecting this.”
The government can not charge ALL the rioters with that one. They will -I think- charge the ones who are on tape calling of it.
Iowa man sentenced to 10 years for shooting Black teen at pro-Trump parade excerpt: "An Iowa man who shot and injured a Black teenage girl during a pro-Trump rally last year was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Monday. Michael McKinney, 26, was at a rally in support of then-President Trump on Dec. 6 when a car with four teenage girls got into an argument with Trump backers. The event was hosted by Women for America First, the same group that hosted the rally that preceded the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riot a month later. The rally attendees surrounded the car, and when the vehicle began to back up, McKinney, an Army veteran, fired into it and shot a 15-year-old girl in the leg. He later told authorities that he shot at the car because he felt was "in danger and was protecting himself.""
When Republicans lost control of the House in midterm 2018 elections, Trump tried to make the loss look like a win by saying he thought he could make deals better with the Democrats than Republican on issues such as infrastructure.
Trump vows ‘beautiful’ deals with Democrats but threatens ‘warlike’ retaliation to probes Josh Dawsey Political investigations and enterprise reporter November 7, 2018 https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...ec8226-e2a7-11e8-b759-3d88a5ce9e19_story.html excerpt: "The president, who had demonized Democrats in apocalyptic terms and attacked Pelosi on the campaign trail, said he looked forward to working with her on “a beautiful bipartisan-type situation.” He said they could find common ground on rebuilding the nation’s infrastructure, lowering the cost of prescription drugs and refashioning trade policy. “Now we have a much easier path because the Democrats will come to us with a plan for infrastructure, a plan for health care, a plan for whatever they’re looking at, and we’ll negotiate,” Trump said. He added, “From a dealmaking standpoint, we are all much better off the way it turned out” than if Republicans had kept control of the House."
Now Trump is saying the opposite, that the situation will be better if the GOP regains control of the House in 2022.
... which is the situation Trump had during the first two years of his term and yet didn't accomplish anything on infrastructure.
2 Seattle police officers fired for actions at Capitol riot on Jan. 6 Author: KING 5 Staff Published: 1:55 PM PDT August 6, 2021 Updated: 10:13 PM PDT August 6, 2021 2 Seattle police officers fired for actions at Capitol riot on Jan. 6 | king5.com excerpt: "SEATTLE — Two of the six Seattle police officers who attended former President Donald Trump’s “Stop the Steal" rally in Washington D.C. on Jan. 6 have been fired. Seattle Police Chief Adrian Diaz announced he terminated the two officers in a statement Friday and released their official disciplinary action reports. The officers violated three department policies on Jan. 6, including their duty to "adhere to laws, city policy and department policy," according to the reports signed by Diaz. “Based on the evidence presented to me and the statement of the officers themselves, I have terminated their employment with the Seattle Police Department, effective immediately,” Diaz said in a statement. Evidence gathered by the FBI and an investigation by the Office of Police Accountability (OPA) revealed that the two officers had trespassed onto the U.S. Capitol grounds on Jan. 6 and stood by while others around them breached the Capitol Building and assaulted officers, according to their disciplinary reports. The chief’s determination in the disciplinary action reports reads, in part, “Yet on the afternoon of January 6, you violated the law and stood in the midst of an attempted insurrection. Your unlawful presence provided the appearance that you, a member of the Seattle Police Department, supported an unlawful insurrection and greatly undermined the public trust in you and all law enforcement officers.”
He shot a black teenage girl, he’ll be treated like royalty and receive first class treatment and protection from the Aryan Brotherhood.
Legal and social justice is being served to Trump and his followers now that he's out of office. Over 600 of Trump's rioters at the Capitol have been arrested. Police officers have been fired for participating in Trump's insurrection. Trump's tax returns have been turned over to prosecutors in NY. Trump's CFO, Weisselberg, has been charged with crimes. A number of GOP politicians in southern states are finally admitting that the coronavirus is real and are encouraging the public to be vaccinated. People like Lindell and Powell have had legal action taken against them for defaming ballot machine companies. Giuliani lost his legal license in NY and DC and is immersed in debt because of his behavior with Trump offering no help. Coronavirus whistle blower Rick Bright has been compensated for the abuse he incurred from the Trump administration.
And yet, Trumph could shit his pants in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue and 50 million people would cheer in support.
