Big Brother is really watching you ? Australia

SA's home quarantine trial has been described as 'Orwellian' — but is Big Brother watching?

As states consider different ways to quarantine international and interstate travellers, a new approach in South Australia is generating headlines as well as controversy.

Last month, the SA government launched an expansion of the state's quarantine system to allow returning travellers to complete their fortnight in isolation at home, instead of entering medi-hotels, to stop the spread of COVID-19.

The eye-catching element has not been the measure itself, but the method.

While the approach of using facial recognition technology may be novel, it has also been likened to a piece of dystopian fiction.

But does that comparison hold water? Not according to one prominent local civil libertarian.

So Biden is passing his first vaccine mandate and several Republican governors are vowing to fight it. Isn't it bad enough the country is full of fools who won't get vaccinated for ridiculous reasons without their government backing them up? Every governor should be telling their electorate, "Please get the vaccine. I don't want you to get sick and die."

Hey, if not for them spreading the disease to other people, including children, I'd say "Let them get sick and die. They brought it on themselves." Harsh maybe, but they've had plenty of time to look at the evidence and realize the vaccine is safe and effective. If you trust a deadly disease more than the vaccine developed to save you from it then good luck to you, you're going to need it.

But many people don’t believe the Government and Pharmaceutical narratives. They hold the view that the lockdowns and proposed vaccine mandates are illegal and harming people and economies globally. Many lawyers are coming together organising Nuremberg-style trials.

What’s amazing is how easily some people fall under the spell of fear-mongering and false information enabling the elite to act illegally, removing your freedoms that so many died for. Good luck with that.

With every ICU bed in the county filled with covid-19 patients does this seem like the best solution?

They probably found out he was on the payroll of a Pharmaceutical company, as so many health “professionals” are these days…

The Doctor in question was on the county board for years and was only dismissed because he believed in the science.

The so-called doctor they hired is a nutcase who promotes the use of Ivermectin

“believed in” sounds about right… some science and scientists are funded in part by Pharmaceutical Corporations. Conflict of interests much. There are plenty of equally, if not, more so, qualified medical professionals who know the science doesn’t hold water. Why, do you think, they are being silenced? Where there’s no debate allowed, we should all be highly suspicious.

I have no problem with debate, but I question the actions of these county officials who chose to abandon the one man who they always trusted in the past, over some charlatan who is only telling them what they want to hear.

I’m not suggesting that you personally have a problem with debate. It’s the official narrators who refuse to, or are being prevented from, debate with other scientists who hold different, and equally valid, views from them. Maybe Idaho knows what so many of us do. Something is not right with the way all of this is being handled by Governments, Corporations and MSM. Maybe they’re aware of the pay-offs and blackmail that goes on. Experts who have alternative views are silenced when something untoward is going on.

You must be talking about Trump supporters and anti-vaxxers. If so, I've said the same thing many times myself.

Now is a critical time,” Israeli Minister of Health Nitzan Horowitz said as the 56-year-old got a COVID-19 booster shot on 13 August, the day his country became the first nation to offer a third dose of vaccine to people as young as age 50. “We’re in a race against the pandemic.”

His message was meant for his fellow Israelis, but it is a warning to the world. Israel has among the world’s highest levels of vaccination for COVID-19, with 78% of those 12 and older fully vaccinated, the vast majority with the Pfizer vaccine. Yet the country is now logging one of the world’s highest infection rates, with nearly 650 new cases daily per million people. More than half are in fully vaccinated people, underscoring the extraordinary transmissibility of the Delta variant and stoking concerns that the benefits of vaccination ebb over time.

This guy must be fucking nuts.

I was in the military and if you accumulate 20 years or more of active service are you're eligible for retirement. He was just two years shy of of retirement and chose not to take the vaccine
