Trump is making more threats. This time he's saying that there won't be Republicans voting in 2022 and 2024 unless the GOP investigates the 2020 election and makes him feel satisfied that his lie about the election being stolen from him is believed by everyone.

The big lie is done, in the rear view mirror, proven many times that it is in fact a big lie, but Trump won't let it go. The Repubs need to burn him down, he's holding them back. Might I suggest they cooperate fully with law enforcement to ensure he gets convicted of something?

 

Trump continues to try to mold the GOP in his image.

He achieved a victory when Gonzalez of Ohio announced he was retiring from the U.S. Congress. Gonzalez is only 37.

Gonzalez voted to impeach Trump for the Capitol riot. He also voted with 35 Republicans to establish the January 6 commission to investigate Trump's riot.

The way Mault describes it, he must have been forced by Trump's other rioters to climb up a wall, enter the Capitol, and spray a chemical on police officers.

Fort Bragg spokesman Joe Buccino said the Army is cooperating with the FBI's investigation, but he noted that Mault joined the military after Jan. 6."

 

It will never happen. He'll tie everything up in court until he spends his last million on it or dies.

 

Mault might have even been forced into a vehicle by his friends and taken against his will to the Capitol.

 

He can keep appeals going to stay out of jail but can still be convicted, thus making him ineligible to run for office.

F.B.I. Official Fired Under Trump Wins Back His Pension

"WASHINGTON — Hours before he was scheduled to retire in 2018, Andrew G. McCabe, then the F.B.I.’s deputy director, was fired by the Justice Department, depriving him of his pension and prompting cheers from President Donald J. Trump, who had been hounding him over his role in the Russia investigation.

On Thursday, the department reversed Mr. McCabe’s firing, settling a lawsuit he filed asserting that he was dismissed for political reasons. Under the settlement, Mr. McCabe, 53, will be able to officially retire, receive his pension and other benefits, and get about $200,000 in missed pension payments.

In addition, the department agreed to expunge any mention of his firing from F.B.I. personnel records. The agreement even made clear that he would receive the cuff links given to senior executives and a plaque with his mounted F.B.I. credentials and badge.

The Justice Department did not admit any wrongdoing. But the settlement amounted to a rejection by the Biden administration of how Mr. McCabe’s case had been handled under Mr. Trump, who perceived Mr. McCabe as one of his so-called deep-state enemies and repeatedly attacked him. A notice of the lawsuit’s dismissal was also filed in federal court.

“Politics should never play a role in the fair administration of justice and Civil Service personnel decisions,” Mr. McCabe said in a statement. “I hope that this result encourages the men and women of the F.B.I. to continue to protect the American people by standing up for the truth and doing their jobs without fear of political retaliation.”

Mr. McCabe thanked his lawyers at the firm of Arnold & Porter, who will receive more than $500,000 in legal fees paid by the government. The firm intends to donate the money to its foundation, which provides scholarships to minority law students, among other things."

So if Trump's supporters don't vote, that's a good thing, right? It would take away a big chunk of people who vote Republican, thus getting a lot of them voted out of office, right? And if Republican politicians continue to support the big lie to appease Trump it will drag them down, right?

The only way I can see the GOP getting out of this intact is to collectively DUMP TRUMP!! But good luck getting them all to do that.
