Trump is making more threats. This time he's saying that there won't be Republicans voting in 2022 and 2024 unless the GOP investigates the 2020 election and makes him feel satisfied that his lie about the election being stolen from him is believed by everyone. Trump says Republicans won't vote in midterms, 2024 election if 2020 fraud isn't "solved"
Donnie is getting to be more of just a talking head on his fraud bullshit. The Repulslicans won't vote, that's fine with us. I wonder what color hat (or hood) the Renew American Movement members will wear...
Another article with a different style of stating it After costing his party the senate, along with the White House, he’s looking ahead: Nice elections you got there. Be a shame if something happened to them. Matt Lewis, Senior Columnist Published Oct. 14, 2021 1:40PM ET Updated Oct. 14, 2021 1:55PM ET Trump Tells GOP: Back My Big Lie or I’ll Burn the Party Down excerpt: "Donald Trump is the biggest loose cannon in the world. If Joe Biden actually ends up spending trillions of dollars to radically transform America, it will be because Trump sabotaged not one, but two U.S. Senate seats in Georgia after refusing to accept his own defeat, giving Democrats a surprise majority in both houses of Congress to go along with the White House. He could have an even bigger, and more damaging, impact on Republicans going forward. The only thing we know for sure is that he will not be ignored. Indeed, he is already meddling."
Trump Tells GOP: Back My Big Lie or I’ll Burn the Party Down excerpt: "The beauty is that Trump doesn’t even have to deliver on his mob-boss threat; he just has to issue it, and Republican politicians will bend to his will. That’s because the threat is believable, first because Trump doesn’t care about the party, and second because Trump has demonstrated that he is careless and erratic. In this regard, he is employing Nixon’s “madman theory”—against his own party. Every compromise made to appease him or kick the can down the road (in hopes he will fade away) only empowers him more. Trump isn’t just the biggest X factor in the 2024 presidential race, he may prove the greatest unknown in the 2021 and 2022 elections. He is the elephant in the room—the “known unknown.” His actions are unpredictable and chaotic, making it impossible for Republicans to plan for, much less manage, them. Elections come and go. Trump is forever. And all he demands is everything."
Trump Tells GOP: Back My Big Lie or I’ll Burn the Party Down excerpt: "This should be interpreted as a serious threat, because it speaks to the very efficacy of voting. Trump is not saying that he will tell his voters to stay home in 2022 to punish Republicans. He is making a much more furtive and veiled threat: He will tell the voters not to waste their time voting, unless, of course, other Republican politicians (a) buy into the bogus premise that the election was stolen from him, and (b) support whatever election “reforms” he says will prevent that from happening again. This is a devious way of holding Republican politicians hostage to his demands while avoiding being labeled a spoiler. Nice elections you got there. Be a shame if something happened to them."
Now they can just put a picture of the United States on there, cut in half...the wise and the mislead.
The big lie is done, in the rear view mirror, proven many times that it is in fact a big lie, but Trump won't let it go. The Repubs need to burn him down, he's holding them back. Might I suggest they cooperate fully with law enforcement to ensure he gets convicted of something?
Trump continues to try to mold the GOP in his image. He achieved a victory when Gonzalez of Ohio announced he was retiring from the U.S. Congress. Gonzalez is only 37. Gonzalez voted to impeach Trump for the Capitol riot. He also voted with 35 Republicans to establish the January 6 commission to investigate Trump's riot. Donald Trump is doing everything he can to hurt Republican chances in 2022 - CNNPolitics excerpt: "Trump has endorsed primary challengers to the likes of Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney and Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski and rejoiced in the retirement of Ohio Rep. Anthony Gonzalez. All three voted to impeach Trump following the January 6 riot at the US Capitol. The former president has also repeatedly attacked Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, referring to the Kentucky Republican as the "most overrated man in politics." And he's endorsed Senate candidates that McConnell (and the party establishment) had expressed doubts about -- from Herschel Walker in Georgia to Mo Brooks in Alabama to Sean Parnell in Pennsylvania. Taken as a whole, it's hard to see how Trump could be less helpful to Republicans as they put together the pieces of a campaign they hope restores their majorities in the House and Senate. And why? Because Trump is all about Trump. He does what he wants -- and what he thinks benefits him politically -- first, second and always."
The way Mault describes it, he must have been forced by Trump's other rioters to climb up a wall, enter the Capitol, and spray a chemical on police officers. Man who joined Army after Jan. 6 arrested at Fort Bragg in connection with Capitol riot :: WRAL.com excerpt: "Mault went to Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6 with a group of friends and was seen in various videos shot during the riot climbing onto the sally port on the west side of the Capitol and spraying "a chemical agent" at law enforcement officers inside, according to a criminal complaint filed by the FBI. Mault told investigators that he was forced toward the Capitol by the crowd and denied entering the building, assaulting anyone or damaging property, according to the complaint. Fort Bragg spokesman Joe Buccino said the Army is cooperating with the FBI's investigation, but he noted that Mault joined the military after Jan. 6."
It will never happen. He'll tie everything up in court until he spends his last million on it or dies.
Mault might have even been forced into a vehicle by his friends and taken against his will to the Capitol.
He can keep appeals going to stay out of jail but can still be convicted, thus making him ineligible to run for office.
Another example of Trump publicly scalding someone at the last moment to retaliate: Andrew McCabe F.B.I. Official Fired Under Trump Wins Back His Pension Andrew G. McCabe, the former F.B.I. deputy director, will receive his pension and other benefits after settling his lawsuit with the Justice Department. By Adam Goldman Oct. 14, 2021 Updated 6:40 p.m. ET F.B.I. Official Fired Under Trump Wins Back His Pension excerpt: "WASHINGTON — Hours before he was scheduled to retire in 2018, Andrew G. McCabe, then the F.B.I.’s deputy director, was fired by the Justice Department, depriving him of his pension and prompting cheers from President Donald J. Trump, who had been hounding him over his role in the Russia investigation. On Thursday, the department reversed Mr. McCabe’s firing, settling a lawsuit he filed asserting that he was dismissed for political reasons. Under the settlement, Mr. McCabe, 53, will be able to officially retire, receive his pension and other benefits, and get about $200,000 in missed pension payments. In addition, the department agreed to expunge any mention of his firing from F.B.I. personnel records. The agreement even made clear that he would receive the cuff links given to senior executives and a plaque with his mounted F.B.I. credentials and badge. The Justice Department did not admit any wrongdoing. But the settlement amounted to a rejection by the Biden administration of how Mr. McCabe’s case had been handled under Mr. Trump, who perceived Mr. McCabe as one of his so-called deep-state enemies and repeatedly attacked him. A notice of the lawsuit’s dismissal was also filed in federal court. “Politics should never play a role in the fair administration of justice and Civil Service personnel decisions,” Mr. McCabe said in a statement. “I hope that this result encourages the men and women of the F.B.I. to continue to protect the American people by standing up for the truth and doing their jobs without fear of political retaliation.” Mr. McCabe thanked his lawyers at the firm of Arnold & Porter, who will receive more than $500,000 in legal fees paid by the government. The firm intends to donate the money to its foundation, which provides scholarships to minority law students, among other things."
Mitch McConnell Warns That Voting Bill Would Bring U.S. to Brink of Democracy By Andy Borowitz June 22, 2021 Mitch McConnell Warns That Voting Bill Would Bring U.S. to Brink of Democracy excerpt: "WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Blasting the For the People Act, Senator Mitch McConnell claimed that the bill’s passage would bring the United States “to the brink of democracy.” “The Democrats can dress this bill up any way they want, but their real agenda couldn’t be clearer,” the Senate Minority Leader said. “They want to turn the United States of America that we love and cherish into a democracy.” Noting that the word “democracy” originated in ancient Greece, he vowed, “I will not sit idly by and watch a foreign form of government sneak across our border.” McConnell rallied his fellow Republican senators by reminding them that “we’re the only thing standing between this country and democracy.”"
Infowars Host Begs Judge to Drop Riot Charges: I’m Like Jesus! Pilar Melendez National Reporter Published Oct. 14, 2021 6:07PM ET Infowars Host Begs Judge to Drop Riot Charges: I’m Like Jesus! excerpt: "In a truly bizarre attempt to get his charges dismissed for his alleged role in the Capitol riots, Infowars host Jonathon Owen Shroyer compared his conduct to that of Jesus Christ or the Dalai Lama. The comparison was among several arguments Shroyer made in a Thursday motion to dismiss the two misdemeanors charges he faces in connection with the Capitol riots. He also insisted that he’s a member of the press and that the government invited him onto federal grounds by removing the barricades that allowed hundreds of rioters to eventually break into the building. Shroyer also argued that if his actions that day “amount to disorderly conduct, then Jesus Christ or the Dalai Lama would have been arrested for trying to be a peacemaker.”"
So if Trump's supporters don't vote, that's a good thing, right? It would take away a big chunk of people who vote Republican, thus getting a lot of them voted out of office, right? And if Republican politicians continue to support the big lie to appease Trump it will drag them down, right? The only way I can see the GOP getting out of this intact is to collectively DUMP TRUMP!! But good luck getting them all to do that.
