The law tightens the grip of Republican lawmakers over the election board that oversees the vote count. It removes Raffensperger from his seat as chair of the board, which means that even if he survives next year’s challenge by Hice he will still have his wings clipped.

Under the law, the newly Republican-dominated election board gains the power to suspend county election officials. That is being seen as a thinly disguised power grab over the election processes of Fulton county, an area covering the heavily Democratic and majority-Black city of Atlanta.

Fulton county was seminal in handing victory to Biden. It also gave the edge to Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, in senatorial races that swung control of the US Senate to the Democratic party.

“Late at night during the passing of the voter bill in Georgia, Republicans snuck in a provision that could have the most devastating impact,” Waldman said. “It changes the rules of who gets to count the votes, taking away the power of the secretary of state and taking over county election processes on very flimsy grounds.”"

But will the military support such a coup? If not then we could see him removed by force, then I hope the military will re-install Biden or whoever else actually won the election.

Infuriating to Trump is being placed in a public position where he is asked to admit that he would concede an election.

Trump exploded at journalist Jeff Mason on Thanksgiving Day who politely and repeatedly asked Trump if he would concede the 2020 election after the recounts failed. Trump rambled on and on to avoid the question.

The exchange ended with Trump exploding at his little desk with the two undecorated Christmas trees beside him.

The grand finale for Trump was when he blurted out 'we will never concede' during his January 6 speech as his riot at the Capitol was starting.

 

My main thought when trump is in the news for some anti democratic , ridiculous statement is always : WHO THE FUCK DOES HE THINK HE IS???

Anti-vaccine doctor who called mask wearing "dangerous" dies of COVID-19

"Dr. Christopher Foley, who criticized mask-wearing and spread false information about a COVID-19 vaccine, passed away from complications of the virus.

The Minnesota doctor pushed back against continued use of masks, writing on his company website that they are "downright dangerous" if worn for extended periods of time. He was also critical of the vaccine, calling it a "human experiment" and advocated for the widespread use of ivermectin and vitamins to cure COVID-19.

Foley's obituary said he passed away from an "unexpected illness," but his son, Logan Foley, confirmed at his funeral that his death was the result of complications from COVID-19.

"Was he vaccinated? No, he was not," Logan said. "If he'd only been vaccinated, wouldn't he still be here? Obviously, we'll never know."

 

Journalist Jeff Mason finally got Trump's answer a month and a half later.

 

Problems with the public believing conspiracy narratives can become intractable when people like medical doctors and a president like Trump instill the misinformation.

Well... at least he didn't have worms.

 

Well … try as I might, … I cannot support the anti-Trump rhetoric.
With the present group in office for only 10 months, the impact of the new policies has had a negative impact on all Americans.
Try to be objective, not totally negative.
We are all in the same boat.

 

We had a guy, … with faults, … that put the USA first.
As an ex Army guy, I appreciated that.
