'Disheveled slob' Steve Bannon is a 'sniveling little coward' for blaming his lawyer: former Dem senator

'Disheveled slob' Steve Bannon is a 'sniveling little coward' for blaming his lawyer: former Dem senator

    excerpt:

"First of all, I think there's something that is hysterically funny about the fact that Donald Trump, who was so focused on how people looked, that they are perfectly groomed and specially cast for the part," said McCaskill. "And this slob, this disheveled slob is his face — nobody cutting a swath of handsomeness and crisply tailored suits. This guy looks like he just rolled out of bed with a hangover. It is ridiculous that this is the face of Donald Trump."

She went on to cite another fact she finds "hysterical": The fact that Bannon is apparently blaming a former lawyer for his decision to not testify before the January 6th committee."

Ex-chief of staff John Kelly said if Trump was a 'real man' he would've gone to the Capitol on January 6 to stop the rioters: book

    excerpt:

"Kelly added that he believed the riot — led by Trump supporters while Congress met to certify President Joe Biden's 2020 election win — was enough to invoke the 25th Amendment, a process to remove a president unable to fulfill their duties.

"If I was still there, I would call the cabinet and start talking about the Twenty-Fifth Amendment," Kelly told Karl, referring to the ability of the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet members to remove a president from office. Despite bipartisan calls to remove Trump at the time, then-Vice President Mike Pence opposed the effort."

What would be astounding would be listing how much income tax each really paid. Oh, that's right, they get to pay no tax to be rewarded as being a "good investor".
Systematic removal of wealth from the poor and middle class continues....

According to Jonathan Karl, the Flynn, the recently pardoned former national security advisor to Trump tried to coordinate the military to seize ballots.

Michael Flynn pressed Pentagon official to seize ballots, new book reveals

    excerpt:

"Former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn pushed a former aide who’d been installed in a top Pentagon post to cut short a foreign trip so he could order the seizure of ballots and other “extraordinary measures” to prevent certification of Joe Biden’s 2020 election win, a new book reveals.

In Betrayal: The Final Act of the Trump Show, ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl reports that Mr Flynn, a retired three-star general who was ousted from his role as former president Donald Trump’s top national security aide after less than a month for lying to the FBI and then-Vice President Mike Pence, made the outlandish request just before Thanksgiving last year, weeks after it was clear that Mr Trump had lost the 2020 election.

Mr Flynn reportedly placed a frantic phone call to Ezra Cohen, a former National Security Council official who’d been appointed acting undersecretary of defence for intelligence just a few weeks before.

According to Karl, Mr Cohen was on a plane to the Middle East when he got a call from Mr Flynn, who days before had been pardoned by Mr Trump, clearing of charges that he’d made false statements to FBI agents in 2017. The former general told his ex-aide to return to Washington immediately because big things were about to happen.

“We need you,” Mr Flynn reportedly said before telling Cohen that he would need to obtain signed orders to seize ballots and take “extraordinary measures…to stop Democrats from stealing the election”."

Flynn wasn't the boss of Ezra Cohen at that time. He wasn't even an official member of the Trump administration during the time he was trying to boss Cohen.

According to Karl, Trump's unofficial deep state associates were calling for outlandish stunts to try to overturn the election.

Michael Flynn pressed Pentagon official to seize ballots, new book reveals

    excerpt:

"“You need to launch a special operations mission to get her,” Ms Powell demanded.

According to Karl, she would later email Mr Cohen to demand a “Letter of Marque,” which is a term used during the Age of Sail for a document once issued to private merchant ships giving them the authority to attack ships carrying the flag of a country with which the issuing country was at war."

Ex-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell reportedly fell for 'far-fetched' QAnon conspiracy theory that claimed then-CIA director was in German custody

    excerpt:

"According to Karl, Powell called the senior intelligence official, Ezra Cohen, in the election's aftermath, pushing a "false conspiracy theory that had been gaining steam among QAnon followers."

"Gina Haspel has been hurt and taken into custody in Germany," Powell told Cohen, per Karl. "You need to launch a special operations mission to get her."

The Trump attorney believed Haspel had been injured while completing a secret CIA operation aiming to seize and destroy evidence of vote tampering on an election-related computer server, Karl reports. She thought the CIA was complicit. None of it was true.

But Powell believed it, and wanted the Defense Department to immediately "send a special operations team over to Germany," locate the server, and "force Haspel to confess," Karl writes.

Cohen, for his part, "thought Powell sounded out of her mind," and soon reported the call up the chain, according to Karl.

A CIA spokesperson later further debunked any conspiracies, having told news outlets, "I'm happy to tell you that Director Haspel is alive and well and at the office.""

Trump-backed Michigan secretary of state candidate spread false election claims and January 6 conspiracy theories - CNNPolitics

    excerpt:

"Kristina Karamo -- the candidate Donald Trump is backing to be Michigan's next secretary of state -- has falsely claimed the former President was the true victor in Michigan in 2020 and has spread the conspiracy theory that left-wing anarchists were behind the January 6 attack on the Capitol.

"Based on the series of evidence and knowing how these situations work, how these anarchists operate, I believe this is completely Antifa posing as Trump supporters," Karamo said on an episode of her podcast the day after the January 6 insurrection. "I mean, anybody can buy a MAGA hat and put on T-shirt and buy a Trump flag."

In fact, hundreds of federal indictments have affirmed since then that Pro-Trump supporters attacked the US Capitol to disrupt the certification of Joe Biden's 2020 election win.

Karamo has never held elected office or run a statewide race before, but the 36-year-old community college professor has become a leading candidate to be Michigan's GOP secretary of state nominee after receiving Trump's endorsement in September."

Trump was 'beside himself with fury' after Obama roasted him at the 2011 White House Correspondents' dinner: book

    excerpt:

""I spoke to Donald after the dinner," Christie said. "He was pissed off like I'd never seen him before. Just beside himself with fury."

In his book, Christie is critical of Trump's aggressive promotion of the birther conspiracy theory, which Trump pushed until September 2016, and writes that it "paved the way for wave after wave of other conspiracies to come, wild fantasies, far-fetched assertions, bizarre allegations, and outright lies."

He added, "It showed that personal falsehoods, even when plainly disproven, can still do political damage. Lies, even discredited lies, never really go away."

But despite what Christie writes were Trump's obvious lies, Christie delivered Trump significant political momentum when he became one of the first prominent Republican politicians to endorse his 2016 presidential bid."

Steve Bannon Turns to Trump Impeachment Lawyer He Previously Mocked on His Podcast

    excerpt:

"Former Trump strategist and election conspiracy theorist Steve Bannon has retained lawyer David Schoen to defend him against contempt of Congress charges—notably despite the fact that he openly mocked Schoen during former President Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial.

After being indicted by a federal grand jury last week, Bannon surrendered to federal authorities on Monday morning. The MAGA ally was charged after ignoring a subpoena from the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection. The one-time Breitbart chief is scheduled to first appear in front of a federal judge on Monday afternoon.

Schoen, meanwhile, notified the district court on Monday that he will represent Bannon. While Schoen has represented other Trump associates in the past, such as self-described “dirty trickster” Roger Stone, he is probably best known for defending the disgraced ex-president during his impeachment for inciting the Capitol riots.

And as such, she'd be the one to oversee Michigan's elections. Think she'd do a good job?

So let me get this straight, Trump attorney Sidney (Release the Kraken) Powell called a top Pentagon official and told him the U.S. needs to launch a special operation in Germany, because CIA Director Gina Haspel has been caught while on a secret CIA mission to seize a computer server which contains evidence that the democrats stole the election from Donald Trump

And it really happened, it's batshit crazy, but it really happened ...lol..
