Piddling down again outside here in Colwyn Bay this morning.
I have to go for a hospital appointment soo for blood and urine tests, and will likely get wet.
It’s windy so me brolly may not be able to do it’s job!

I wish we had a bit chilly 70f here in Colwyn Bay.

That is a heat wave compared to our 45f at the moment!
I do envy you.

In the meantime I took these pictures while out this afternoon.
Our new little pier platform and the beach are virtually deserted.
Still.
It isn’t any wonder at our near freezing temperatures!

It’s the middle of the long gray in Western Washington. Our weather reports abound with terms not used elsewhere. Like “sun break” to describe a tiny episode of sun in the middle of a very cloudy day. Like “more dry than wet” to describe a rare day when the hours without precip exceed those with. Like the one I use, “pizzle”” to describe the frequent power drizzle ….about 9,000 wind driven droplets per square foot per second.

 

Forecast: a little snow at times later on today accumulating a coating to an inch; untreated surfaces will be slippery. Lo Temp 27° F
