hands accross the water water hands accross the sky sky sky sky of course of course, though i don't think either of our arms are that long. also as in cost of living adjustment that was about five years overdue.
I think a baby (for Christmas) No Jesus, not you... (it's his birthday - don't tell him I said that). A cat. and an apartment. With my fiance. Or a job! that would be good... XOXO
all of that, for the week between the winter solstice and the first day of the new year. a week when for which people suspend hating logic, consideration, honesty or imagination. a week generally, that economics is the excuse for not making it the common and dominant culture the rest of the year. economics and narcissism and the dominance of aggressiveness, hiding behind gender and pursuit of status. yes it is one very good week. precisely because it is a kind of mini-vacation from all of what we make wrong with an otherwise perfectly wonderful world. a week of trolley bells and blankets of snow, and the wakes of snow plows, both road and rail. of staying warm inside with a nice hot cuppa. sadly i think also, i have seen it becoming a week for those who have weaponized their beliefs, for trying to convince others, that consideration cannot exist without them. which is unfortunately the opposite of everything above, and it is was being that special week, that is what i grew up with, through the eyes i had growing up, even if it were not what everyone else was experiencing. we don't know what we don't know, but we know there is that week, and that it shows what we can be, is not prevented by any sort of biological imperative to the contrary.
