This is the VERY QUESTION that needs to be addressed by - sadly - too many "believers."

It's OK if REPUBLICANS do it. Big international crime if a Dem or other party does it.

This is the VERY TYPICAL HYPOCRISY that is THE REPUBLICAN PARTY today.

A lot of us wanted nothing to do with him after knowing he’s one of Trump’s lap dogs. He apparently didn’t learn ANYTHING by watching what was going on around him, and damn sure didn’t listen to the guy that left the GOP- Gregory Cheadle

Man Who Texted About Shooting Pelosi Sentenced To 28 Months In Prison

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON — A North Carolina man who traveled to Washington, DC, with a cache of guns and ammunition on Jan. 6 and texted about “putting a bullet” in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “noggin” the day after the insurrection was sentenced Tuesday to 28 months in prison.

Cleveland Meredith Jr. had tried to get to DC for the “Stop the Steal” rally that preceded the assault on the US Capitol but arrived late in the day because of car trouble. He sent a series of texts to friends and family that threatened violence while he was en route and the day after the attack, including the Jan. 7 message that featured in the felony charge he pleaded guilty to: “Thinking about heading over to Pelosi ****’s speech and putting a bullet in her noggin on Live TV.”

Announcing Meredith’s sentence, US District Judge Amy Berman Jackson said that threats against lawmakers, members of the executive branch, judges, and the media were multiplying, and she lamented that even certain public officials — she did not name names — “think nothing of calling for someone’s head if they disagree with them.” She said that it wasn’t enough for someone in Meredith’s position to say later that they were joking or didn’t intend to act on a threat.

“That is the most tired and hollow excuse and this sentence needs to clearly express that these kinds of statements cannot be shrugged off,” Jackson said. “They cannot be erased by adding ‘LOL’ at the end.”"

Trump has been having a rhubarb with an editor at Vanity Fair for three decades about his small hands.

When Trump was at a PR event for hurricane victims, he was wearing gloves for preparing food. He said the gloves felt small on his hands, showing that he still mistakenly thinks that he has big hands.

Trump still thinks he won Georgia by as many as 500,000 votes.

Far too little vote fraud to tip election to Trump, AP finds | AP News

    excerpt:

"Democrat Joe Biden won Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and their 79 Electoral College votes by a combined 311,257 votes out of 25.5 million ballots cast for president. The disputed ballots represent just 0.15% of his victory margin in those states.

The cases could not throw the outcome into question even if all those votes were for Biden, which they were not, and even if those ballots were actually counted, which in most cases they were not.

The review also showed no collusion intended to rig the voting. Virtually every case was based on an individual acting alone to cast additional ballots.

The findings build on a mountain of other evidence that the election wasn’t rigged, including
verification of the results by Republican governors."

Florida Trump supporters arrested on charges of casting more than one vote in 2020 election
    By Eugene Scott
    December 14, 2021 3:17 p.m. EST

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...ges-casting-more-than-one-vote-2020-election/

    excerpt:

"Three Central Florida residents who have expressed support for former president Donald Trump were recently arrested following reports that they cast more than one vote during the 2020 election, according to various Florida news media outlets.

Jay Ketcik, John Rider and Joan Halstead, who all live in The Villages in Sumter County, Fla., face felony charges and up to five years in prison for allegedly casting more than one ballot in the most recent presidential contest, according to county arrest records.

The three were jailed after Sumter County Supervisor of Elections Bill Keen launched a probe of allegations of voting irregularities, according to prosecutors. Keen is not commenting on the cases, given the ongoing criminal investigation."

During his call to Raffensperger, Trump alleged that an election worker scanned 18,000 illegal votes for Biden that were stored in a suitcase under the table. He also claimed that each one of those ballots was scanned three times, giving Biden 54,000 illegal votes.

Trump's colleague on the phone call said he wasn't sure about the ballots being scanned three times, although he did support the '18,000 illegal ballots from a suitcase' narrative.

Two registered Republicans voted illegally in 2020 by using addresses in different states.

Villagers charged with voter fraud cast additional ballots in New York and Michigan

During his call to Raffensperger, Trump said he wanted signature audits to be conducted for elections in Georgia 2, 4, and even 6 years prior to the 2020 election to uncover what he believes is widespread signature fraud going back many years.

He continued to push the goal posts to try to find what he thinks were hundreds of thousand of illegal votes for Biden in Georgia alone.

Some states discard ballots and their envelopes after 2 years due to the shear volume of millions of documents each election cycle.

When the documents are destroyed, it's usually done after an election so as to not give the impression of destroying evidence during an election season.

During his call to Raffensperger, Trump thought it was suspicious that ballots from elections years before the 2020 election were being discarded. He said that it didn't pass the smell test and insinuated nefarious behavior by election officials during the 2020 election.
