Reflections on the past year on HIP.

The past year on Hip was interesting. Some folks were thrown off, some disappeared and the political scene was and still is rather hot. Lots of new members that are appreciated for sure. Not many knuckleheads are around, although I'll bet some of the women might feel differently about that as we all know some men just can't help themselves when it comes to women! I've enjoyed this--here joint for over 20 years and have seen very interesting people, very funny people, very thoughtful people, some of whom contained ALL those qualities at the same time----go away after a few days and some after 10, 15 years or more. Every once in a while, one that was here steadily in the early part of the century but disappeared a long time ago---will check in. That is pleasurable to see for an old timer around here. There were a few that really pissed me off, but they are gone now--'nuff said on that. I suppose I'll be around here 'till I'm disabled or turn into worm chow! And I'll keep enjoying it. So there!

I forgot to add how much I enjoy the HIP party threads on Frixday and Scatterday.
A great way for lots of members to bond.
