Trump attacked the Capitol and caused five deaths and hundreds of injuries, an act that the 9/11 terrorists didn't achieve at the Capitol.
Justice Department declines to defend Rep. Mo Brooks against Jan. 6 incitement lawsuit excerpt: "In a 42-page court filing last month, Brooks sought to dismiss the case against him, arguing that his remarks were within the scope of his duties as a House member. The Justice Department and the House have typically intervened to defend lawmakers sued for their official actions, and Brooks sought similar treatment against his colleague’s suit."
You should try combining Benny Hill music with footage of the capitol rioters storming the building ...lol..
Article from September 2020 with graphs showing how dismal Trump was rated by democratic countries. People had more confidence in Xi and Putin. U.S. Image Plummets Internationally as Most Say Country Has Handled Coronavirus Badly
Most countries don't understand the size of the US and what it takes to cover 50 states and handle 50 states' governments, interstate travel, distribution complexity. OK, UK, you are about half the size of damn California, why can't you simply knock this virus out?
Hayzoos--the continual raving of a flat out lunatic has to end one of these days. AS far as those cult members go, who worship Herr Blump ---well---there's just no cure for such abject stupidity except enough time to take them out from heart attacks, etc. Unfortunately, they have children.
The same cartoon should be done about Lindsey Graham: "I'm sorry I called you a jackass in 2015." "I'm sorry I said 'Enough is enough. Count me out.' after your riot." "I can never do enough for you, Sire!"
How was it a fair election when the republicans won ? But yet a major voter fraud scam because Biden won. But yet it was all the same ballot / election.
Mother and her teen daughter plead guilty to their involvement in Capitol riot. Canterbury Mom, Daughter Plead Guilty to Charges Connected to U.S. Capitol Riot
excerpt: She also told authorities she posted a photo on Facebook, but later deleted it because it seemed like a bad idea to leave it up. No shit
Trump and his people have many excuses. Trump's claim is that he and GOP candidates won elections where too many eyeballs were looking at those particular elections for the Democrats to cheat sufficiently to win (particularly after the GOP did well in the 2021 elections). Trump said that ballots in the regions where Biden had a significant win margin were corrupt. He tried to have as many votes disqualified selectively in the urban areas such as Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Phoenix. A GOP election board official in Wayne County MI proposed going precinct by precinct within Wayne and disqualifying precincts heavy with Biden votes while retaining Trump votes in precincts away from Detroit. Trump supporters without qualifications have personally gone informally house-to-house knocking on doors post-2020 election trying to find what they think were corrupt votes for Biden. Trump told Raffensperger to go back 5 years or more and see if the old ballot signatures still match the ones from the 2020 election, but only in Fulton county where Biden won with a significant margin. Trump wanted Raffensperger to deputize local officials to have the legal authority to examine such matters that involve privacy issues. Trump protesters were simultaneously yelling "Count The Votes" in AZ where the unfinished counting had shown Trump needed more votes to win while chanting "Stop The Count" in MI where the current count was showing Trump with the lead. Trump said he wanted Biden votes thrown out in a Biden heavy urban area because he thought the chain of custody of the ballots during transport to the counting centers had been compromised. The ultimate is going ballot by ballot in hand, selectively disqualifying Biden votes, and justifying it because they had a Cheetos or coffee stain on them or contained bamboo fibers from China (suspicions actually made by Trump's people, but only for Biden votes).
The U.S. has been focused on external threats since 9/11, not realizing the internal threat from someone like Trump. Justice Dept. creating unit focused on domestic terrorism excerpt: "WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department is establishing a specialized unit focused on domestic terrorism, the department's top national security official told lawmakers Tuesday as he described an “elevated” threat from violent extremists in the United States. Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olsen, testifying just days after the nation observed the one-year anniversary of the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, said the number of FBI investigations into suspected domestic violent extremists has more than doubled since the spring of 2020. “We have seen a growing threat from those who are motivated by racial animus, as well as those who ascribe to extremist anti-government and anti-authority ideologies,” Olsen said."
Yet Trump and Brooks want the DOJ to protect their 'official government acts' of inciting a riot while accusing the FBI (a part of the DOJ) of starting the riot.
Trump challenges riot lawsuits, says fiery speech was official act excerpt: "What do I do about the fact the president didn’t denounce the conduct immediately?” Mehta said to Binnall. “Isn’t that, from a plausibility standpoint, enough to at least plausibly infer that the president agreed with the conduct of the people that were inside the Capitol that day?" Binnall replied: “The president cannot be subject to judicial action for any sort of damages for failing to do something.”
Finhem of AZ needs to explain why he was seen with Trump's mob at the Capitol when he said he was no closer than 500 yard from it. Arizona Lawmaker Mark Finchem Struggles to Keep His Capitol Riot Story Straight excerpt: "Media reports that I was ‘leading the march’ or somehow ‘leading an assault on the Capitol’ are wildly fictitious and a slanderous fabrication," Finchem said. "The closest I ever came to the Capitol building was about 500 yards away. The fact that I was late to the venue by over an hour destroys the hyperbolic assertion that I was in any way a leader of the event." Mark Finchem was much closer to the Jan. 6 insurrection than he claimed excerpt: "Newly discovered footage taken during the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot shows Arizona GOP legislator Mark Finchem was much closer to the day’s violence than he has previously claimed. Finchem has insisted that he never got within 500 yards of the Capitol building, but Getty footage of the failed attempt to stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s election that was recently discovered by activists on Twitter shows Finchem walking directly in front of the east steps at the Capitol after pro-Trump rioters had already broken through a series of barricades and police lines, and then smashed their way into the Capitol building." image:
