    This storm really over-performed with 10-12 inches locally

    When we were kids on a day like this we'd make a small fortune with school closed while going from house to house with our snow shovels.

    Today, I can almost read the headlines, "local resident calls the police after feeling threatened by a roving gang of youths carrying what she described as sharp aluminum blades with broad wooden handles. ...lol..

    I did not wash the floors. I went to the beach and walked. I needed fresh air more than clean floors. They can wait 'til another morning.

    Cold this morning but when that arctic front comes through on Monday night, our low temperature this morning will be our high temperature on Tuesday with wind chills ranging from 20-30 below zero
