I don't blame you. The one sided narratives are crumbling. We can see it with firearms treatment as well as other issues. It's all connected in the aspect of brainwashing the audience. The conflict excites people. Honesty is not a revered trait in the "news" entertainment industry. You can't trust what you hear regarding guns or anything.

I would not and cannot believe anything on Fox " news ". Their whole purpose is to bullshit the American people with partisan lies. I understand that you and several others on the forums get your " news " from Murdoch's BS factory, which has shown that they are nothing but a right wing arm of the republican party. Now--accuse me of TDS , or your favorite--CD.

 

Congress has passed many gun laws in the last 90 years. Republican presidents like George HW Bush have signed them into law. Reagan signed into law the search the car and hold them for 78 hours based on just suspicion laws. Now my concern is this: Does congress have a duty to enact new gun laws before a new civil war here where the right extremists start using guns just because they don't like the outcome of an election? We have laws which prevent a guy from buying a gun after a domestic violence conviction. Should we have new laws which prevent right wing extremists from owning a gun before they commit political violence? The supreme court has already moved the police authority bar from probable cause to reasonable suspicion for cases where they contact a suspect. Why can't we have them go after these gun crazies who have a mental block during elections?

 

To add to my post 11283: If this Durham report turns out to actually be true---then indict the shit out of whomever deserves it. Still does not make trump a decent human being. Still a consummate liar and a wannabe dictator.

 

And the timing of this report is only drawing attention away from the obvious investigations going on about Trump and his shenanigans. If they spied on his campaign they damn sure had good reason to- who gives a damn 6 years later? I didn’t give a damn about it then. None of that justifies the abortion and dysfunction he’s created while he was in the White House.

 

My opinion above is supported by today's news. Just three hours ago the web news I get says a man tried to kill or assassinate a candidate who is running for office in Kentucky. The candidate is a Democrat. If these Republican extremists think they have a right to kill Democrats during an election, then they should be disarmed.
