That's what I am saying. Is it worth to him to risk it all? What would he gain?

    How is this propaganda !

This lady is just trying to cultivate a good relationship between the Americans and Russians by promoting Russian history and culture there.

Russian literature is world-class and the likes of Dostoyevsky and Leo Tolstoy are considered the best novelists in the world, and appreciated even now all over the world.

Many governments fund cultural activities in other nations to promote inter-cultural awareness and build bridges useful for diplomacy and dialogue. I have seen the French similarly holding friendly exhibitions of French culture, movies and music in India.

I think much of the animosity the west has towards Russia, which is actually a part of Europe, is due to lack of knowledge and awareness of the rich Russian culture , literature, music, drama and ballet.

She's an agent for the Russian government.

Ever read the 1963 Cold War novel 'The Spy Who Came in from the Cold' by British author John le Carre'?

It could be paranoia as well...

Since we're quoting: "Just because you're paranoid it doesn't mean they're not out to get you," Fox Maulder - the X-Files

After she serves her time in a United States Federal Penitentiary, the government will deport her back to Russia

She had left for Russia in 2020, as she thought she was likely to be arrested.

Perhaps she might also be an alien shape-shifter, and that could be the real reason why she is subject to suspicion and scrutiny. You never know for sure !

I dont know how many they have now ,but before the conflict they had approximately 200 of all types .

The most important being the 50 Mig 29s and the 32 SU27s ( one pictured below )

Poland has 23 Mig 29s in service and so the numbers would considerably add to what Ukraine already had .

    Castling King Side 0-0

2 Batteries of Patriot anti Aircraft missiles deployed to Poland .

A little disturbing as these are only normally set up if you think an attack is imminent

I disagree. The west doesn’t have animosity toward the Russian people, just it’s corrupt government.

Flagme, I think that's exactly what Ajay0 was saying. It's always been the different styles of government, rather than the people themselves. (Though they are a bit rough and coarse around the edges! Ever seen any of their porn? Jeez!)

I just thought of something. Where is the INTERNATIONAL Red Cross and the Red Crescent in all this escalating civilian carnage? And even Doctors Without Borders.

Would Putin, but much more importantly, his ground troops, actually fire on a Red Cross or Red Crescent convoy if it had been publicly well-announced and then crossing a border?

    Seems worth a try.

If it were well-announced on all the world-wide news media, that this was a 'joint' humanitarian effort and was going to happen at a specific place and time, would they dare fuck-up that badly?

Yeah, I know, I'm probably wrong, but it might be at least worth taking a shot at.

I'm not so sure. Putin is already drawing heat for bombing civilians (including maternity hospitals) and firing on a Red Cross convoy could be considered provocation. I believe the Russians would tread lightly around the Red Cross, but it wouldn't shock me if they didn't.
