Read the CPAC messages . They are calling for war. Calling leftists fascists. Revering authoritarian leaders around the world. Trump repeats his "the press is the enemy of the people" Nazi phrase, the press that is protected by the constitution. Everything they have said is what's exactly true about them. They are lying , dangerous armed citizens who seem eager to start gunning people down in the streets. And of course led by the lying, crooked ,narcissistic, worst president this country has ever had. If republicans are not turned out of office and gain power in these coming elections-----we can kiss democracy goodbye. I don't understand why something can't be done about the constant, lying , anti American traitors to make them stop lying as happened to tthat nut Jones.

    Trump uses the same tactics.

He didn't use some of the hard fascist approaches such as calling in the military to seize voting machines in the 2020 elections, schemes promoted by some of his cohorts like pillow salesman Lindell (seen at the White House holding papers that mentioned martial law) and the Trump-pardoned Flynn.

Trump relied mainly on subversive tactics from within the realm of normal governance, such as making pressure calls to state officials to try to overturn elections. He invited state officials like Chatfield of MI to the White House (under the guise of supposedly discussing Covid funding) to try to convince them to overturn MI election that Trump lost by about 154,000 votes. Chatfield and others were observed by a journalist later wining ($600 bottle) at Trump's hotel in DC that he had used to court officials from around the world. He called Gov. Ducey of AZ as he was signing the certification of Biden's win in AZ to try to stop him from signing it (Ducey was seen putting his phone on silent as it played the ringtone 'Hail To The Chief' that identified Trump).

His insurrection at the Capitol can be considered a hard fascist approach. It was violence against the members of Congress and his own VP that was being used to try to overturn the election. Trump, who had the most power to stop it, was derelict and complicit with his choice to do nothing about it for hours, in contrast to his lie the next day when he said he had immediately activated the National Guard when the riot started.

There doesn't appear to be any records of Trump contacting the National Guard, the mayor of DC, governors of nearby states, his Attorney General, the Capitol Police, or his military officials to stop the riot. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley said he received no calls from Trump during the riot at the Capitol.
