Paul Manafort admits sharing info with the Russians during 2016 Trump campaign

In an interview with Business Insider, former Donald Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort admitted he was in contact with the Russians and sharing information during the former president's 2016 presidential run.

For years, questions have been raised about Russian involvement in the campaign that saw the New York businessman beat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Manafort is now stating that he handed polling data over to the Russians \-- in particular to "Konstantin Kilimnik, a longtime business associate with suspected ties to Russian intelligence."

According to the report, "Kilimnik then passed the data on to Russian spies, according tothe US Treasury Department, which has characterized the data as 'sensitive information on polling and campaign strategy.'"

 

Nah, that's not real Treason....shoot.... Seems that the Rosenbergs go the electric chair for less than that.

 

Without help from the Russians in 2016 Trump would have likely lost, but Hillary Clinton made her share of mistakes by taking some swing states for granted, and not making one single trip to Wisconsin where she lost by a razon thin margin of 0.7%

Some experts believe just one campaign swing across the state of Wisconsin in late October would have made the difference.

Trump did seem to want to use even more drastic measures. A draft executive order was written that would have had the military seize voting equipment but wasn't finalized.

Trump also wanted to replace acting AG Rosen with Clark, but he changed his mind because of talk of a mass resignation within the DOJ.

Trump and Powell were part of the schemes in MI to tamper with voting equipment.

Trump also tried to convince legislators Shirkey and Chatfied of MI to overthrow Biden's win when he courted them at the White House and the Trump DC hotel.

 

The candidate running against the Trump-endorsed DePerno for the attorney general position is calling for a special prosecutor.

It would be a conflict of interest for her to be investigating a candidate she is running against.

Trump endorsed DePerno in September 2021. He won in the endorsement convention in April 2022.

He is now the GOP nominee for attorney general of Michigan in 2022. His behavior related to tampering with voting machines is being investigated by the attorney general of Michigan.
