    Rain has slowed a bit, but have a look at this map of soil moisture for North America, seems rather dry to me!!!

    Of course it's wet around the edges and down here in Baja where we have a storm going on...

    We're in one of the dry soil areas in lower Michigan - and we're completely surrounded by 80% of North America’s fresh water!

    Here is the same... rain rain rain.

    Got quite windy around 4 am, but all is well. The hatches were battened tightly.

    However, cockroaches manage to find their way in... nasty things. Giant also! I just smashed one at least 2 inches in length... yuck.

    House boredom sets in... and another day of rain looms.

    I did make a quiche for dinner :)
