The demise of the mentality in the Great Lakes states like WI, MI, OH, and PA is disturbing.

They once prided themselves in pragmatism and ethics and in producing great presidents, athletes, and astronauts.

That region used to be referred to as the breadbasket of America.

Now it's turning into the basket case of America.

 

Those four states have become increasingly pivotal in presidential elections due in part to the magnifying effects of the all-or-nothing assignment of electoral votes.

Trump's loss of WI, MI, and PA in 2020 (states he won in 2016) was sufficient for him to lose the election.

WI and PA were two of Trump's main targets for overturning the election.

Gableman in WI was still investigating the 2020 election during the summer of 2022.

Trump is still saying he won MI when he lost it by about 154,000 votes.

 

Trump should start doing PR stunts at his rallies where the candidate seeking his endorsement bend over and kiss his rear end center-stage.

"Come out here right now, Vance, and kiss my rear end for me!"

 

Many GOP candidates seeking Trump's endorsement and money would probably do it.

Trump says that the markings 'classified' don't necessarily mean that they weren't declassified, but he currently won't give any more details about whether or not he declassified them.

That leaves the special master having to operate on the premise that they were still classified.

What's depressing about that humor is that Trump could be expected to actually make such remarks.
