All we can do is sit back and see what happens next, and frankly it's doubtful anything will come of it.

I hope he honors it too, but I'm not holding my breath.

 

I had recorded the last meeting of the January 6 Committee and I've finally seen it in full. It's pretty damning.



Witness after witness has testified that:

Donald Trump knew he had lost the election.
He knew he had no solid basis to claim election fraud but did so anyway.
He knew many of his attempts to overthrow the election were illegal.
He knew that on January 6th 2021 he was sending an armed angry mob to the Capitol.
He deliberately instigated a failed insurrection in an attempt to hold on to power.
He deliberately did nothing to stop the riot until it was clear that it had failed.

Naturally they voted unanimously to subpoena him.

And yet Trump still insists the 2020 election was rigged and stolen. He has to, because to admit publicly that he knew it was legitimate would only implicate him further. The Big Lie is all he has left.
