Not only was there not a red wave but there’s a chance the Democrats will hold the Senate with Republicans just barely in control in the House-

The current vote count in the House Republicans 220 Democtrats 215

In the Senate Democrats 48 Republicans 47

In the Georgia Raphael Warnock leads Herschel Walker 29.2% to 48.7% but if neither candidate reaches 50% there will be a run-off.

Looks like it’s going to come down to Georgia once again

Pennsylvania is solid blue once again with Democrat John Fetterman's victory over Oz, and Democrat Josh Shapiro crushing victory over Mastriano in the governor's race

The Red Whimper And 4 Other Takeaways From Election Night

A single number can sum up how election night has gone for Democrats: Two.

That’s how many of the party’s incumbents at the House, Senate or gubernatorial levels had lost reelection as of early Tuesday morning. Rep. Elaine Luria, a moderate who represents military-heavy Virginia Beach, Virginia, had fallen to a state Republican lawmaker. And scandal-plagued Rep. Tom Malinowski had lost in New Jersey

The anticipated red wave of 2022 looks more like the wake generated by a medium-sized fishing boat.

Right now the House still looks likely to enter GOP control, which would be enough for the party to claim victory. But its majority could be small enough that GOP leader Kevin McCarthy would struggle to pass almost any legislation. It remains possible Republicans will not defeat a single Democratic Senate or gubernatorial incumbent and that Democrats could actually add seats in the Senate

Just how crazy is that run-off election in Georgia going to be.

Personally, I was tired of all the political ads leading up to the election.

Most of the negative ads were directed at Senator Margaret (Maggie) Hassan in New Hampshire. Just imagine how crazy it’s going to be in Georgia,

The only hope is that Raphael Warnock rises above 50% which is still possible, but unlikely

Although Herschel Walker is a mess, If were being completely honest Fetterman in Pennsylvania isn't all that much better off after suffering a severe stroke

Oh, I don't know... Fetterman at least starts out the gate with some intelligence and some experience. What experience does Hershel Walker offer the good people of Georgia?

I don't question Fetterman's intelligence or experience, but If you saw any of the debate he didn't seem to know up from down

Yep, that debate was not Fetterman's best showing, but what the heck. I expected Oz to have had a little better showing than what he did, though.

Oz tried his best in the closing weeks to cast himself as a moderate and had some success, but in the end, he was an outsider and Pennsylvanians knew it

Trump is 'screaming at everyone' after watching his hand-picked candidates flop

“'Trump is livid' and 'screaming at everyone,' after last night’s disappointing midterm results for GOP, according to a Trump adviser," Acosta reported. "The adviser went on to slam the former president’s handpicked contenders: 'they were all bad candidates.' 'Candidates matter,' the adviser said."

Trump had reportedly considered announcing a presidential run on Monday, ahead of the midterms, but sources say the election results muddle the timeline for entering the 2024 race.

They are not a whole lot smarter in Arizona. I think Kari, the c***, Lake will win the governors race, but I think Mark Kelly will retain his senate seat.

How much ketsup has he thrown?
