10,000 National Guard troops escorting Trump to the Capitol so that he could coerce Pence and Congress into overturning the election for him.

Trump might have walked right into the Capitol and overturned the election himself if he had help from the military.

Trump's Senior Advisor Max Miller shot down the idea of Trump using 10,000 troops on Jan. 6 in fear of what he might do with their help.

It's consistent with other accounts mentioned by Trump's staff who said they would humor him and hope that he forget about his outlandish ideas, such as rolling tanks down Pennsylvania Avenue after he was thrilled by a military display when he visited France. It was rejected by the Pentagon which said it would damage the infrastructure.

The tank parade plan could have been used by Trump along with 10,000 troops to escort him to the Capitol on Jan. 6.

It sounds like the Secret Service had problems simply driving Trump back to the White House after his speech on Jan. 6. That incident didn't even involve 10,000 troops, some of whom might have been sympathetic to him.

It's understandable why officials at the Pentagon didn't want to play into Trump's idea of having extra troops present on Jan. 6 at his disposal.

What Trump really wanted was 10,000 troops who were loyalists to him and sympathetic to his quest to overthrow the election. If there was a way of obtaining such a group, he would have selectively picked them like he selectively picked secret service agents like Ornato who seemed the most loyal to him.

Trump made Ornato chief of staff for operations at the White House, melding politics with security.

Arizona Judge Rejects Kari Lake’s Effort to Overturn Her Election Loss

    excerpt:

"But he said his duty was “not solely to incline an ear to public outcry,” and noted that, in seeking to overturn Katie Hobbs’s victory by a 17,117-vote margin, Ms. Lake was pursuing a remedy that appeared unprecedented.

“A court setting such a margin aside, as far as the Court is able to determine, has never been done in the history of the United States,” Judge Thompson wrote.

He went on to rule flatly that Ms. Lake and the witnesses she called had failed to provide evidence of intentional misconduct that changed the election’s outcome."

The prominence of Hobbs, who won the AZ governorship in 2022, is partly due to Trump's stolen election mantra and Hobbs standing up to him.

Hobbs beat Lake who is a verbatim rendition of Trump.

What about the voters who were not disenfranchised. People who understood there were problems, but didn't get their panties in a bunch.
People like trump, and lake don't seem to understand that people didn't want to vote for them.

    on advice from trump.

I heard on the news yesterday.
One of the plans was to cause fake chaos in the House over electors. If the electors are contested then under the 12th Amendment if the electoral vote is tied, or contested, then the House votes who gets to be president based upon one vote per state as chosen by each states' Congressional delegations.
The Republicans had a 27 to 23 majority of Congressional delegations so Trump would win if they all voted for him...regardless of the popular vote or the tie in the electoral vote.
