    Even after all this time of reading and hearing the stupid things this woman says and does, it still surprises me that she can be this plainly stupid - ignorant to what she is saying. How is it that people didn't laugh in her face when she said this?

    Fox has to lead its viewers instead of simply reporting the news.

    In this particular case, it was a consideration of leading its viewers to believe that the 2020 election wasn't stolen from Trump (to try to avoid a Dominion lawsuit), but in a delicate way that wouldn't make them even more angry (to save themselves from Trump's wrath and lower TV ratings).
