For all of you who seem to know everything, you forgot that Musk took Twitter off the stock exchange when he purchased the corporation.

It is not a listed public company anymore...

    FACT.

    NO!

    Thats not the point.

The point is the government 'contracted' with Twitter to commit a crime. That is a Something burger.

You seem to think that the person who for instance contracts and pays an assassin to assassinate someone is not guilty of a crime just because they are not the person that pulled the trigger! Wow! Thats not the way it works in the real world. That a conspiracy to commit murder.

Paying Twitter to suppress free speech is a conspiracy to violate your rights of free speech.

You thought they were a "private" company and said it to the tune of 6 times and I have quoted them using the boards quote function. Why have you changed your story? Because I proved you incorrect maybe?

You seem to have lost track of the focus again, that was posted posted in reference to your inference that private companies can do what they want, as the citation points out, no they cant.

The FBI paid Twitter to violate our rights 'before' Musk bought it and took it off the exchange.

Like dictator Biden mandating you either be their guinea pig and go along with their highly profitable experiment by injecting your body with dangerous substances or you will be fired from your job.

NYC hired its workers back 'with' back pay.

Interact by commissioning a crime is ok with you? Seriously?
EMPHATIC YES!!!!! Our rights are more important to some of us than your vision of a nanny state that violates all your rights to coddle us with an IRON CURTAIN so the only propaganda we are exposed to is THEIRS!!! :) Stalin lives!
Oh no! Deep state is anti "We The People" NOT anti state! That means they are pro state.

    2. existential bases of conspiracy theories: the desire for control and security

Conspiracy theories can give their believers a sense of control and security, especially in situations where alternative explanations might warrant unacceptable actions . For example, dead kids resulting from school shootings are generally regarded as an appalling development that might suggest the need for for tougher gun control. But that would mean giving up the AR-15 I need to protect myself when the men in the black helicopters come to call. Solution: the Sandy Hook massacre never happened. It was all crisis actors posing as dead kids. And Alex Jones told me so on TV. Sounds logical

Some people find their lives aren't going well --in employment, finances, social life, etc. They can accept it as bad luck or a result of their own personal failings. Or they can find somebody else to blame: the shadowy "them" who run the world from behind the scenes: the Illuminati, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg group, the Rothschilds, the Elders of Zion--all of the above, some of the above--or the "Deep State", that Q-Anon told them about. People who feel like they have low socio-political control are more susceptible to believing in conspiracies.
Lacking control drives false conclusions, conspiracy theories and superstitions
    The Psychology Behind Conspiracy Theories
"Seeing the event as planned rather than accidental allows people to maintain a sense of control over a reality that is confusing and unpredictable. If there is someone to blame, we can restore some kind of balance to the universe by seeking to punish the culprits for their evil conduct. Also, we can prevent them from harming us next time. This illusion of control contributes to our optimism about the future and helps us cope effectively with adversity."
Conspiracy theories may seem irrational – but they fulfill a basic human need
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/.../202009/the-psychology-conspiracy-theoriesthe believer (Douglas, Sutton, & Cichocka, 2017 “People who feel powerless may also endorse conspiracy theories as they also help the individual avoid blame for their predicament. In this sense, conspiracy theories give a sense of meaning, security, and control over an unpredictable and dangerous world.”The Psychology of Conspiracy Theories
"People who feel ostracized or lack a sense of belonging are more likely to believe in conspiracies. Those who feel that they are of a status that is threatened or who have lower income also are prone to conspiracies Why Conspiracy Theories Are Here to Stay

To begin with the government didn't contract with Twitter to commit a crime, they reimbursed them for looking for information.
Second I used the term private company to express the fact that Twitter is not an arm of the government, you replied that it is a public entity as it sells stock. You choose to nit pick over the two terms even though non governmental entities are commonly called private businesses as in "the private sector" whether they appear on the stock exchange or not
You made a big deal out of the use of private vs public then in your next post you posted a link about private companies being under contract.
I repeat, private and public companies, that is non governmental companies, can censor what they like, within reason of course. Now if you want to get into the specific rules and regulations, fine.
Look up corporate censorship with the link provided.

I see. You are against the government of the United States of America and feel that you, and or the people living within the borders of the United States, have rights that are not granted by the current interpretation of the Constitution by the Supreme Court, Congress, and Executive branches of the government. Is that right?
You feel the federal government has no right what so ever to interact with private or public entities as that would be a crime, even thought permitted by the Supreme Court, Congress, and Executive branches of the government which are the entities that define crimes. Is that right?

Further you would be perfectly happy to see Russia, North Korea, Iran, etc. interfere with our elections in anyway they please such as altering votes, or using our airwaves, media platforms, newspapers, and telephone poles to post lies and propaganda, or any other way they choose as not allowing them to interfere with our elections would be un-American. Is that right?

And becasue the government of the United States is not perfect, it has no right to do anything at all as everything it does violates "our" rights.
"We the people" should be allowed to do anythign we want.
In short you are an anarchist, you don't believe in government, the United States government in particular. Is that right?
Do you feel the federal government should be disbanded?

Feb 9, 2023 — The FBI paid Twitter over $3.4 million of taxpayer dollars to censor stories – including the Hunter Biden laptop story....

53% of Americans made aware of the Hunter Biden laptop story would have changed their vote in 2020.

    This is unconstitutional election meddling.

Seems its not the Russians we need to be afraid of,

This is a lie. The $3.4 million from the FBI was a reimbursement for time spent processing requests pertaining to the Stored Communications Act. It has nothing to do with content moderation. It refers to subpoenas, records requests, etc for investigations.

Fact check: FBI paid Twitter for information requests, not censoring information
The $3.4 million the FBI gave Twitter was reimbursement for costs associated with fulfilling legal information requests.

    Oh yeh thats reliable!

The Stored Communications Act (SCA, codified at 18 U.S.C. Chapter 121 §§ 2701–2712) is a law that addresses voluntary and compelled disclosure of "stored wire and electronic communications and transactional records" held by third-party Internet service providers (ISPs).

    2. existential bases of conspiracy theories: the desire for control and security, cont'd. Psychological correlates.

A 2018 study by Hart and Graether found that the strongest predictor of belief in conspiracy theories is having a personality falling into the schizotypy spectrum.Something’s Going on Here
Why Do People Believe in Conspiracy Theories?

Schizotypy is a cluster of traits that in laymen’s terms are manifiested in odd or eccentric behavior, unusual beliefs and fears, and difficulty with forming and maintaining relationships.Schizotypal Personality Disorder

“People with schizotypal personality disorder are often described as odd or eccentric and usually have few, if any, close relationships. They generally don't understand how relationships form or the impact of their behavior on others. They may also misinterpret others' motivations and behaviors and develop significant distrust of others. These problems may lead to severe anxiety and a tendency to avoid social situations, as the person with schizotypal personality disorder tends to hold peculiar beliefs and may have difficulty with responding appropriately to social cues”. you did that already, that is only ONE of SEVERAL explanations, its a major pretense to believe everyone falls into the the psycho category.

The most typical is we are lied to constantly by those we require truth, as I cited with several citations that you apparently ignored.

When people cant believe what they are told they use the information available to figure it out for themselves.

You never did make a 911 thread as I challenged you to do.... that way we can see how good you peeps are at conspiracy diagnosis. I already posted court documents that everyone has been notably silent on.

thats literally every group Ive seen, they all want the world to be their way.
