Government IS supposed to be the people. Legislative representatives are sent there to do just that-----So what he said was that duly elected representatives are the problem? Fuck Reagan--he was a typical republican prick!

That isn't the main case against her.

She has a trial expected to proceed in autumn 2023 on state charges for her involvement in a scheme to tamper with election equipment that was part of her quest to try to prove that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.

After that, she could face federal charges or additional state charges.

Peters put up a fight when she was arrested for the offense of her illegally recording proceedings in a courtroom.

After she tried to kick police officers, one of them told her told her to be an adult. She told the police officer that it was an asshole thing to say to her.

The Peters trial was delayed because the government found more evidence against her in the election tampering case that her lawyers need to review.

Tina Peters is similar to Trump. She has a way of digging deeper holes for herself. Trump behaved the same way when he refused to turn over government documents to the National Archives and later criticized the FBI after it went to Mar-a-Lago and recovered some of the documents.

Peters and Trump think that they are authorities answerable only to themselves.

Peters' elected position in Mesa involves protecting the election system, not illegally tampering with it over frustration that the candidate she wanted to win legitimately lost the election.

Trump had four years as president to declassify many documents to expose what he referred to as the Deep State whose tentacles allegedly are spread throughout the government.

Trump held a news gathering after he became president to try to prove he divested his businesses. Stacks of white papers were put on a table before the journalists. That was supposedly proof that he divested. Trump didn't allow the journalists to see the contents of the papers.
