Currently, losing doesn't matter to many Trump supporters (elections, their livelihood, staying out of prison). They like his bigotry and how he portrays himself and his supporters as victims who need to serve retribution onto those who supposedly wronged them. The populace has been immersed in Trump's conspiracy and retribution mindset for the past eight years, and it has become stronger.

 

The GOP may have to accept another loss in 2024 and wait until Trump is sufficiently mentally or physically disabled or deceased..Trump would be 82 in 2028. 82 is not too old for him to try to run again if he loses in 2024. He could act as a spoiler to the GOP in 2028 just to continue garnering attention for himself.

 

Some of Trump's supporters would try to make him a write-in candidate when he is deceased and create slates of fake electors to submit to Congress just in case Trump returns from the dead or surfaces after supposedly being kidnapped by the government who faked his death.

 

Trump has filed petitions in two courts in GA at the same time to try to dismiss the investigation by WIllis as she seated a new grand jury.

He's requesting original jurisdiction from the GA Supreme Court to preempt the Fulton County Superior Court that he has also petitioned.

Trump doesn't want a delay in the court system when it can dismiss a case against him that he otherwise has been trying to delay indefinitely.

Those who aren't as loyal to Trump as Nauta could be indicted and flip on him even if Nauta doesn't.
