Trump left Pence stranded in the basement of the Capitol for hours subject to being beaten or killed by his rioters during the insurrection.

Yet Pence says he still doesn't know what Trump's intentions were.

 

When I watched that interview, the term (and image) of a “gimp” comes to mind…..
(Leather/rubber suit, ball gagged mouth, etc.)

 

Pence is still on his 'leave it up to the voters' ploy to determine if Trump committed crimes.

He's also said that it should be left up to history to hold Trump accountable for criminal acts (whatever that means).

Pence is deeply concerned if Trump is indicted again or is found guilty of crimes because he thinks it would be an abuse of the justice system.

Pence wants the GOP primaries and the 2024 election to be the metrics to determine if Trump committed criminal acts..

If Trump wins the presidency in 2024, by the metrics of Pence, it exonerates Trump of criminal activity.

 

If Trump wins the GOP primary and loses in 2024, he will likely once again try to overturn the election and would be prone to using criminal acts to do it.

Like he has for the 2020 election, Pence would likely say once again that it should left to 'history' to judge and punish Trump.

Try using that line in criminal court to defend Trump.
