    Pence and McCarthy would still be making those types of statements while recovering in the hospital after being nearly beaten to death by Trump's supporters.

    When I watched that interview, the term (and image) of a “gimp” comes to mind…..
    (Leather/rubber suit, ball gagged mouth, etc.)

    Pence is deeply concerned if Trump is indicted again or is found guilty of crimes because he thinks it would be an abuse of the justice system.

    Pence wants the GOP primaries and the 2024 election to be the metrics to determine if Trump committed criminal acts..

    If Trump wins the presidency in 2024, by the metrics of Pence, it exonerates Trump of criminal activity.

    If Trump wins the GOP primary and loses in 2024, he will likely once again try to overturn the election and would be prone to using criminal acts to do it.

    Like he has for the 2020 election, Pence would likely say once again that it should left to 'history' to judge and punish Trump.
