Chesebro's fate is now known. He has pleaded guilty. Kenneth Chesebro takes last-minute plea deal, agrees to testify in Georgia election case
Of the 19 defendants in the GA case, Chesebro is the third person to plead guilty (after Hall and Powell). As Trump would say, 3 down and 16 to go.
Followup. Capitol rioter and former police officer Robertson has lost his appeal regarding corrupt intent related to his conviction of obstruction. It has implications for Trump who the DOJ has charged with obstruction of an official proceeding. Robertson was sentenced to seven years in prison. Trump revealed how, a domestic figure, over the course of two months, can radicalize domestic people to commit violence in the name of a lie (violence that Trump supporters would otherwise say that they abhor and be perplexed as to how people could be radicalized so quickly).
It sounds comical but it is also pitiful that AG Rosen would have to go to Jeffrey Clark and ask him politely about what appears to be Clark and Trump plotting secretly to oust Rosen from his AG position to try to overthrow the 2020 election. Jeffrey Clark is now one of Trump's 19 co-defendants in the GA election interference case against Trump. Clark is also a co-conspirator in Jack Smith's DOJ case against Trump for election interference.
That was a correct assessment in December 2022. The DOJ seemed to be giving Meadows a break by not fully pursuing him to comply fully with the Congressional subpoena, possibly as a gesture for other information they were obtaining from him privately. Trump has since been indicted in four criminal cases and Meadows has been indicted in the GA case. Meadows has apparently been cooperating with Smith's DOJ case against Trump. Meadows, once continuously being subservient to Trump and still referring to him as 'The President', suddenly went quiet about Trump and has remained quiet for many months. Meadows lost court motions while attempting to avoid being held accountable in GA.
The situation is worse now than in January 2023. The GOP kooks can't even decide on the next kook they will nominate for Speaker that they will eventually not have enough votes to confirm, leaving them to try to nominate yet another kook. The government runs out of money in mid November 2023 and action by the House is needed to avoid it. image:

Jenna Ellis could be the next of Trump's 18 co-defendants to accept a plea deal in the GA case. Ellis was fairly closely associated with Trump. As the number of Trump's co-defendants who plead guilty increases, the prosecutors' need for more of them tends to decrease. The ones who plead guilty early will probably accrue the best deal.

Two 'Trump Train' participants settle lawsuit about incident of trying to run the Biden tour bus off the road in TX. Two Texas “Trump Train” participants settle lawsuit claiming they harassed 2020 Biden campaign bus excerpt: "The Klan Act bars groups from joining together to obstruct free and fair federal elections by intimidating and injuring voters, or denying them the ability to engage in political speech. John Paredes, a lawyer representing some of the plaintiffs, previously told The Texas Tribune that people had rarely been sued under the provision of the Klan Act cited in the lawsuit in past years, but it has been increasingly used in legal arguments during the Trump administration. It was also cited in the federal lawsuit against Trump after the Jan. 6 insurrection."
