After Cohen was charged, Trump said he was just one of many of his attorneys and that he didn't talk to him much.
When Cohen was charged, he had been Trump's personal attorney and fixer for ten years. He had known Trump personally for about 15 years.
Trump lost NH to Clinton in 2016 by about 0.4% and to Biden in 2020 by about 7.5% for the general election, even though he won the GOP primary both times.
A slapstick motion by Trump. He contends that his impeachment acquittal means that the federal criminal case should be thrown out. Trump lawyers argue Senate impeachment acquittal means 2020 election interference case should be dismissed
A routine of Trump at his civil fraud trial is to leave the courtroom when his anger becomes intense and blow his stack to reporters in the hallway. image:
Trump's civil fraud case in NY could be considered the worst of all cases against him. The inner workings of his private businesses are being exposed. It's like Trump being stripped naked in front of the public. The fact that he's attending the courtroom hearings when he isn't required shows his extreme frustration and his attempt to counter what is being exposed.
Reports have now surfaced that Meadows has accepted an immunity deal from the DOJ. Ex-Chief of Staff Mark Meadows granted immunity, tells special counsel he warned Trump about 2020 claims: Sources excerpt: "Former President Donald Trump's final chief of staff in the White House, Mark Meadows, has spoken with special counsel Jack Smith's team at least three times this year, including once before a federal grand jury, which came only after Smith granted Meadows immunity to testify under oath, according to sources familiar with the matter. The sources said Meadows informed Smith's team that he repeatedly told Trump in the weeks after the 2020 presidential election that the allegations of significant voting fraud coming to them were baseless, a striking break from Trump's prolific rhetoric regarding the election."
If that's factual, it's extremely bad news for Trump. Expect Trump to say, 'Who's Mark Meadows? I wouldn't recognize him if I was standing in a room with him.'

Another delay tactic. Trump's claim of unfair prosecution. Donald Trump court victory could leave Capitol rioters out in the cold excerpt: "In all, this is a dart thrown at the wall, but it's not going to stick for Trump, the January 6 defendants, or anyone else. Yet, Trump's team knows this, and so they hedge by asking for a hearing on the issue because his real goal is to delay through this motion and a hearing, not to dismiss the case, which he knows is not happening on these grounds."

SNL needs to do a comedy sketch on that premise. Trump repeatedly exiting the courtroom to blow his stack to reporters in the hallway and then going back into the courtroom to inflict more punishment onto himself. At the end of the day, he can suffer a stroke right in front of the reporters.
Michael Cohen's fraud trial bombshell: Trump had me inflate his total assets based on a number he 'arbitrarily' picked excerpt: "And my responsibility, along with Allen Weisselberg, primarily, was to reverse engineer" the value of Trump Organization assets, Cohen added, "in order to achieve the number that Mr. Trump tasked us." Asked by Faherty what he meant by "whatever number," Cohen did not miss a beat in answering. "Whatever number Mr. Trump told us to," he said.
