    Let's see, Republicans are against:
    Abortion
    LGBT rights
    Books in libraries
    Immigration
    Taxes on wealthy
    Debt relief for students
    Fighting climate change
    Gun Control
    Muslims
    America's true history taught in schools
    Public Schools
    Etc.

    I forgot to add Republicans are also against:
    School lunches
    SNAP - food stamps
    Vaccines
    Universal Health care
    Social Security
    Medicare

    Wow, that's a lot of negative, unhelpful, anti everything that helps the poor, attitude from an entire party in power in supposedly the greatest country on earth.

    How does ANY of that inhumanity make America Great?

    I've heard a lot of talk lately - people are polling in favor of Trump and the polls say we will be better off financially and economically under a trump presidency, and more likely not to go to war...
    but what does that mean?
    Trump will call the bluff on war? We will fall under a massive dictator who collects all of his enemies, great and small, into a prison and then when he sees this is not sustainable, will he have them exterminated? Hmmm...
    And will the economy really be better?
    I think these people who poll that way also fall under the other poll - 73 % of Americans do not pay attention to current events or follow the news...
    in other words - they are ignorant to the facts.

    I've also heard people say they are dissatisfied with Biden and the Republicans so they will vote for an independent candidate?
    When was the last time an independent candidate win an election and when was the last time an independent candidate influences the vote for the guy you did not want to win? So, you are not going to vote for the lesser of two evils this time?
    I don't think it works out that well that way.

    Frankly, I think the 74 million trump voters will vote for him again. When you watch some of the You Tube videos of his followers being questioned, my impression--bottom line--is that they are not that smart. There is something psychologically wrong with people that can admire a narcissistic , lying blowhard like trump. He has never faced accountability in his life for his criminal misdeeds and his recent behavior in the courtroom exemplifies a man using familiar tactics to try and in effect--show his lovers how he is such a horrible victim of a biased justice system! He is such a flawed , mental case.

    I think that the republican "win " on Roe V Wade decision will be a major factor in the coming election as will turn out out by democrats and independents.

    Just know - if Trump wins, he will set up a dictatorship. He will get rid of civil servants and replace them with a bunch of loyalists who are less that top notch, who will destroy the government we have. It may not be perfect, but it works when it is allowed to work. He will gut the social safety net and replace it with Christian nationalism. He will get rid of women's rights and LGBT rights. He will look for revenge against all those who have worked against him, in all levels.
    I don't think we can believe the polls now as predictors of what will happen a year from now, but we do need to pay attention to what is being said, and what is actually true, and stay the course.
