In 2019, Trump said if anyone but him was election in 2020, there would be a market crash, the likes of which has never been seen before.

Trump Warns of Epic Stock Market Crash If He's Not Re-Elected

    excerpt:

“If anyone but me takes over,” Trump told his 61 million Twitter followers on Saturday, “there will be a Market Crash the likes of which has not been seen before!”

The MI GOP has ousted Karamo.

Christian Ziegler Ousted From Florida GOP Amid Rape Investigation

    excerpt:

"The Florida Republican Party has voted to oust Chair Christian Ziegler from his leadership position as authorities investigate allegations that Ziegler sexually assaulted a woman previously involved in a three-way relationship with himself and his wife, Moms for Liberty co-founder Bridget Ziegler.

The party reportedly voted overwhelmingly to expel Ziegler on Monday."

Trump says the current economy is running only on the fumes of what he did in his term.

Trump: Hopes Economy Crashes in Next '12 Months'

    excerpt:

“We have an economy that’s so fragile, and the only reason it’s running now is it’s running off the fumes of what we did,” Trump claimed. “It’s just running off the fumes.”

“And when there’s a crash, I hope it’s going to be during this next 12 months because I don’t want to be Herbert Hoover,” he continued, when pondering the idea of re-election. “The one president I just don’t want to be, Herbert Hoover.”

Once again it is the folks who squawk and squeal the most about how we all ought to live our lives, what we ought not to let our children read, and how we ought to be worried about who uses what bathroom... they are the ones who are doing the nasty and it comes out eventually. Personally, I don't care what he and his wife do in their private lives or who they do it with... but stick to your own business and raise your own kids the way you feel is right - and leave the rest of us to make our decisions, too.

Habba is agreeing that Trump (or any president) can't be prosecuted after leaving office unless they are first impeached in Congress.

Trump Lawyer on Unhinged Immunity Defense: ‘He Didn’t Kill Anyone’

    excerpt:

"When asked if presidential immunity would apply if Trump ordered SEAL Team 6 to murder a political rival, another of Trump’s attorneys, John Sauer, argued that Trump could only face a criminal prosecution after he was impeached and convicted.

Later on Tuesday, Habba tried to back Sauer’s strange defense to Hannity. “The real facts are so easy to win that we have to now argue the slippery slope argument of, ‘If he kills someone, will he be held accountable?’” Habba said. “He didn’t kill anyone. He didn’t cause an insurrection. He didn’t get charged for it. But they’re using hypotheticals to frighten America.”"

    Trump's repetition tactic.

One of Trump’s Oldest Tactics in Business and Politics: I’m Rubber. You’re Glue.

    excerpt:

""The repetition that Mr. Trump has used consistently in his public speeches is a core part of his approach.

“If people think he’s inconsistent on message, he ain’t inconsistent on this message,” Mr. Bannon said of Mr. Trump’s effort to brand Mr. Biden as the real threat to democracy. “Go back and just look at how he pounds it. Wash, rinse, repeat. Wash, rinse, repeat. It’s very powerful.”

David Axelrod, a former top adviser to Mr. Obama, said polling indicated Mr. Trump had “made headway with his base in this project.” But a general election, he said, is a “harder” race to convince people that his lies about Jan. 6, 2021, are true."

Trump's tactic of turning the table on everyone.

He's doing it in court now for his four criminal cases.

One of Trump’s Oldest Tactics in Business and Politics: I’m Rubber. You’re Glue.

    excerpt:

"His flattening moral relativism has undergirded his approach to nearly every facet of American public life, including democracy.

In 2017, when the Fox News host Bill O’Reilly described President Vladimir Putin of Russia as a “killer,” Mr. Trump responded that there were “a lot of killers,” adding, “Well, you think our country is so innocent?”

And in the 2016 campaign, Mr. Trump applied the “I’m rubber, you’re glue” approach to a wide range of vulnerabilities.

When Mr. Trump was described by voters as racist in polls after, among other things, he described undocumented immigrants from Mexico as “rapists,” he claimed that his rival, Hillary Clinton, was the true “bigot.”

When Mrs. Clinton suggested he was temperamentally unfit to be entrusted with the nation’s nuclear codes, Mr. Trump declared her “trigger happy” and “very unstable.”

When Mrs. Clinton called Mr. Trump a “puppet” of Mr. Putin during one of their general election debates, Mr. Trump interrupted: “No puppet. You’re the puppet.”"

Five years ago when president, Trump opted to not visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in northern France because it was windy and rainy.

The weather was the same in DC on Tuesday, but Trump visited the courthouse, when he wasn't required, and attended one of the last-ditch efforts his attorneys are making to try to further stall his federal election subversion trial.

Various countries around the world are saying that they don't want to become like the U.S. after what Trump has done.

Don’t let Germany become like America, agri minister warns

    excerpt:

"Germany is at risk of becoming as politically polarized as the U.S. amid huge farmer protests over subsidy cuts, Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir has warned.

"This is a dangerous divide that can lead to conditions like those in the USA," Özdemir told Germany's Funke media group in an interview, according to reports Tuesday. "People no longer talk to each other, they no longer believe each other and they accuse each other of all the evil in the world," he said as the demonstrations split German politics."

Trump vowed he’d ‘never’ help Europe if it’s attacked, top EU official says

    excerpt:

"'You need to understand that if Europe is under attack we will never come to help you and to support you,'" Trump told European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in 2020, according to French European Commissioner Thierry Breton, who was also present at a meeting at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

"'By the way, NATO is dead, and we will leave, we will quit NATO,'" Trump also said, according to Breton. "And he added, ‘and by the way, you owe me $400 billion, because you didn’t pay, you Germans, what you had to pay for defense,'" Breton said about the tense meeting, where the EU's then-trade chief Phil Hogan was also present.

A few GOP in the Senate who haven't succumbed to Trump are speaking out against him.

GOP senators slap down Trump on Jan. 6 ‘hostages’ | The Hill

    excerpt:

“I don’t condone that characterization at all, no,” said Senate Republican Whip John Thune (S.D.) when asked about Trump calling Jan. 6-related convicts “hostages.”

“We got a justice system and they’re working through it,” Thune said of the nearly 900 people convicted of Jan. 6-related crimes, including more than 200 people who have pleaded guilty to felonies.

Sen. John Cornyn (Texas), a member of the Senate Republican leadership team, dismissed Trump’s claim — echoed by some other Republicans — that individuals who were convicted of destroying property or assaulting police officers in the Capitol are “hostages.”

“Somebody who’s been duly convicted of a federal crime is not a hostage,” he said.

2 Florida men indicted for Jan. 6 Capitol breach soon before 2-year anniversary of attack

    excerpt:

"BRADENTON, Fla. - Two Florida men were charged in a recently unsealed indictment for their roles in the Jan. 6 Capitol breach almost exactly two years ago.

A Bradenton man and a North Port man were named in the indictment and charged on Wednesday, Jan. 4, by the FBI. Tom Vournas, 62, of Bradenton, and Leonard Lobianco, 52, of North Port, will make their initial appearance in the Middle District of Florida on their charges."
