Ah, Stan Grof was my College professor. No degrees of separation between myself and one of the first official experimentors with LSD in the 50s at the Psychiatric Research Institute in Prague. Wish I could remember the course title I took with him...long ago. It was a cosmic exploration of consciousness. Cool dude.

 

That's pretty cool. I have most if not all of his books. I would love to meet him. I have drawn off of his research multiple times. I tend to be more Jungian however, and it always amazed me that he did not seem to use Jungian psychology as much.

 

Yes sadly its true,.... They would rather hang out in a controlled electronic void then be with nature....... Sad Zen!!

 

I've not seen them, but I've sensed a few here and there if I take the time to pay attention.

I know. I've gotten really bad about this.

 

Here is an update on my Apple Tree and the Shide I put on it.

Probably about 3 or 4 weeks after I posted that I got him to stop using the punching bag on the tree. He stopped doing it for the most part. A few weeks ago he got some kind of a stand alone punching bag that he filled with water to keep it up right and set that in a different part of my backyard.

For the first time since he put up the punching bag a number of years ago---we had apples! Quite a large amount of them to be exact! And they are delicious and sweet!
