Trump's RCP favorable rating has gone from about 39% to 43% since the 91 felony charges against him in the summer of 2023.

There doesn't appear to be any other president whose favorable rating has stayed as consistent as Trump's.

Trump's been at about 42% since he took office in January 2017, over seven years ago.

 

The two most significant events for Trump that lowered his favorable rating were the insurrection at the Capitol and the dismal 2022 GOP midterm election results. They lowered him a few points but he rebounded in a couple months.

Donald Trump Jr. has visited Trump's former trade official, Navarro, in prison.

Navarro was found guilty of contempt of Congress for defying a Jan. 6 committee subpoena.

 

Trump's 2024 presidential campaign has become really bizarre. It's become a game of his cronies visiting him at criminal trial and his cronies visiting his buddies who are in prison. Some are doing it to improve their auditioning to be his VP.

It could become stranger. Trump could be convicted of felonies in the NY case and his buddies could be visiting him in prison during the presidential campaign, but not buddies like former Trump official Navarro because he's already in prison.
