Trump Has Few Ways to Overturn His Conviction as a New York Felon

    excerpt:

"The sentencing will start a 30-day clock for Mr. Trump to file a notice of appeal. That notice is just a legal stake in the ground. Mr. Trump will then have to mount the actual appeal at the New York State’s Appellate Division, First Department. The panel of appellate court judges most likely would not hear arguments until next year, and might not issue a decision until early 2026."

Sounds like a real rhubarb was going on between Justice Alito and a neighbor who he and his wife didn't like because the neighbor was anti-Trump.

It also seemed to start (or worsen) after Trump's riot at the Capitol when Trump's supporters (including Supreme Court Justice Alito) became faced with the cold reality that Trump wasn't going to be able to steal the election from Biden.

Ted Kennedy Warned Us About Samuel Alito. He Was Ignored.

    excerpt:

"And Alito’s troubles grew last week when the Times reportedthat another “provocative” flag—one carried by January 6 rioters—flew at his vacation home in New Jersey last summer.

Commentators expressed alarm that a Supreme Court justice would willfully, or through incredible ignorance, associate with an authoritarian movement that has trampled on the Constitution that he took an oath to uphold. Many prominent Democrats, including Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, called on Alito to recuse himself from all forthcoming cases involving Trump and the attempted coup in 2021.

But Alito won’t recuse himself—and his brazen display of disloyalty to American democracy should surprise no one who recalls how he landed on the Supreme Court."

She’s probably in the midst of planning an exit strategy. She’s going to get the hell away from “The Donald”. She wants no part of being in the White House again.

Melania is at a crossroad. Her son Barron turned 18 and is on his own. Her mother died in January 2024 and doesn't need her care. Trump has been convicted in the hush money case and might become president again.

Now is the optimal time for her to make a life change if she doesn't want the potential of being trapped in the White House for another four years.

In her usual ambiguous self, she could act as a spoiler and make ambiguous remarks that are underhandedly insulting of Trump to help sabotage his chances of becoming president again (like plaid-shirt guy near Trump at his rallies who made funny faces at every one of Trump's dumb remarks until Trump's handlers noticed and removed him from the stage). Or just do a straight-out separation or divorce.

She's 54 and needs to start taking the lead of her own life. She's been dependent on Trump since she met him. She obtained her U.S. citizenship status by marrying Trump and giving birth to Barron as an anchor-baby. She chain-migrated her parents and sister to the U.S.

It remains to be seen if she will remain dependent and ambiguous as ever.

If a reporter addressed Melania with all of those remarks, she would probably once again ambiguouly reply, "Stay tuned!"

A sentence in the hush money conviction that includes Trump sweeping the streets of NY would be appropriate.

He would cry that it shouldn't be done to an ex-president (who thinks he's still president).

    He never acted presidential.

The conflict between Justice Alito and his neighbor isn't unexpected considering it occurred at a time when it became clear that Trump wasn't going to steal the election from Biden.

The frustration sets in when Trump's people realize he lost at something.

It was this way on Jan. 6 when Trump's people in frustration rioted for him at the Capitol.

It also happened outside the courthouse in NY when the jury convicted Trump in the hush money case. His supporters outside the courthouse let out the most profane remarks after the verdict.

Justice Alito apparently was frustrated after Trump's riot at the Capitol when he realiized he wasn't going to steal the election from Biden. He seems to have become very annoyed by a neighbor at the time who wasn't a Trump supporter.

The moment of last-ditch efforts to save Trump and knowing that it has failed can be the most dangerous times.

The underlying mindsets of the conservatives on the U.S. Supreme Court continue to be exposed.

The Washington Post had the story about Alito and his upside-down U.S. flag in 2021 after Trump's riot at the Capitol but chose to not publish it at the time.

The mainstream media in the U.S. seemed to be doing the Supreme Court justices favors by not reporting embarrassing stories about them in years past. It has changed recently. Independent groups have been uncovering facts like the exorbitant gifts Thomas received without reporting them. The more historically established news outlets now appear to be following suit.

It's difficult to not report them after a string of incidents. Thomas' wife was all infused with the lies about the election being stolen from Trump and was emailing officials at the White House to try to convince them.

After all the embarrassing news about Thomas, he is now playing the role of victim and claiming that it is all simply a public relations issue that stems from culture in DC that he says is nasty.
