Trump will probably now say that he said the name wrong on purpose just to see if everyone else is mentally competent and noticed.

Trump has said that he intentionally called Biden 'Obama' numerous tines.

Trump went on a lengthy rant about Nikki Haley as if she was Pelosi. He claims that was intentional also.

Trump's alibi is that the people he doesn't like are all the same anyway, so he calls them by any one of their names.

Trump also mistook Orban for the leader of Turkey. He'd probably say they're all autocrats anyway and he loves them all and calls them by any one of their names.

In May 2024, Trump publicly mistakenly referred to Jimmy Carter as the 70's tennis star Jimmy Connors.

Tennis star, U.S. president. Whatever. In Trump's mind, he thinks they're the same and calls them by whatever name he wants.

Years ago during a Fox interview when he was president, Trump mistakenly referred to Syria as Iraq. Trump said he bombed Iraq (instead of Syria). The Fox host had to correct him.

Intro for Trump at 2024 RNC convention:

'And now in this horrible crime-infested, election fraud-ridden, shit-hole city of Milwaukee that we mistook for Saigon, Vietnam, live via video link from prison, here is our nominee for President of the United States: convicted felon Donald Trump!'

Its called "The Cult Of Personality" and extends to the entire population, and both political parties.

Think Professional Wrestling, its the good guys verses the bad guys, but its Professional Wrestling, and there's no real rules, and no real good guys. They would actually lynch Big Bird, but their audience would say that's too far. Unless, of course, they can actually establish a Banana Republic, and they don't have enough bananas.

That was the same interview on Fox when Trump was bragging about the chocolate cake at Mar-a-Lago. Trump was making gestures with his hands to try to describe a giant chocolate cake while Bartiromo smiled, seemingly impressed by the cake.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...y-confusing-fox-business-interview-annotated/

    excerpt:

"TRUMP: So what happens is I said we've just launched 59 missiles heading to Iraq and I wanted you to know this. And he was eating his cake. And he was silent.

    BARTIROMO: (INAUDIBLE) to Syria?

TRUMP: Yes. Heading toward Syria. In other words, we've just launched 59 missiles heading toward Syria. And I want you to know that, because I didn't want him to go home. We were almost finished. It was a full day in Palm Beach. We're almost finished and I — what does he do, finish his dessert and go home and then they say, you know, the guy you just had dinner with just attacked a country?"

The leader of China paused for a while and then asked his interpreter to repeat what Trump had just said about bombing Syria while they ate their chocolate cake.

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/31/politics/felon-trump-rights-what-matters/index.html

    excerpt:

"Can Trump get his rights back?

In New York, a felon can apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct to restore all rights after a certain period of time. The charges against Trump are Class E felonies, for which the period is three years. Florida requires felons to apply for clemency through a special board, but in the case of out-of-state convictions like Trump’s, it defers to the state where the person was convicted.

If reelected, could Trump pardon himself?

Not in this case. Presidents have the power to issue pardons for federal offenses. Trump has been convicted of a felony in New York state court. That would require the pardon of New York’s governor, Democrat Kathy Hochul, who has praised his conviction."

    https://www.politico.com/news/2023/08/16/trump-georgia-pardon-00111503

    excerpt:

"Instead, pardons are issued by the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles, a five-member panel authorized by the state constitution. The board considers applications beginning at least five years after an individual has completed his or her sentence. That timeline differs from the federal system, where presidents can issue pardons before a person has even been prosecuted."

Trump says he has sort of a pretty good idea of a VP pick and probably would announce it during the RNC convention.

Trump sounds like he borrowed that type of ambiguous language from Melania.

A brief period when it looked like a younger, diverse group of GOP would become meaningful leaders.

Now Rubio, Haley, and Scott are kneeling to Trump.

    https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2024/06/14/trump-gop-future-moment-south-carolina-00162767

    excerpt:

"Eventually, obviously, Trump won — but that “new, diverse young leadership” embodied by Rubio, Haley and Scott didn’t just fail to emerge. They didn’t just lose. They caved. Rubio, who when he was running against Trump called him “a con artist,” and Scott, who after the deadly protests in Charlottesville said Trump had “compromised” his “moral authority,” and Haley, who after Jan. 6, 2021, said he had “lost any sort of political viability” and that he’d “fallen so far” and that he wasn’t going to run for office again because “I don’t think he can” — by now their collective capitulation is so considerable it’s hard to know whether they believed what they were saying then or believe what they are saying now or really whether they believe much of anything at all."

Trump must be counting on 'cool' to win out over credibility with endorsements like Jake and Logan Paul's

    excerpt:

"In the segment Paul, who’s amassed great fame and personal wealth under the Biden administration, complains about the economy (which has actually been performing quite well lately). The kick is that Paul appears to be making these claims from inside his multimillion-dollar mansion, sitting in front of a giant portrait of himself. Then he meanders into an odd, paranoid claim about “what they’re putting in our food,” which he uses as a segue to plug a body spray he’s promoting."

She was crying at the riot because she said they took away her Trumpy Bear.

Now she's blaming Trump by saying she was under the authority of Trumpy Bear at the riot.

Beverly Hills salon owner wants to blame Trump at Jan. 6 trial | wusa9.com

    excerpt:

"Bisignano was arrested in January 2021 less than two weeks after the riot. According to charging documents, Bisignano entered the U.S. Capitol multiple times and also encouraged others to enter the building. In a video that circulated on social media capturing the events of the day, Bisignano can be heard exhorting others, “Everybody, we need gas masks… we need weapons… we need strong, angry patriots to help our boys. They don’t want to leave. We need protection.”"

Some of the conspiracy-truthers are finally facing consequences.

Fox paid $787 million to Dominion and agreed to fire Tucker Carlson in the defamation suit the evening before the trial was to begin.

Alex Jones is facing similar financial consequences for his Sandy Hook narratives.

Giuliani is in bankruptcy proceedings. It looks like his homes in NY and FL will be sold so that money can go to the parties to whom he lost in the defamation suit that stemmed from all his support for Trump's election lies.

After being booked, Giulani said he is proud of the alleged crimes.

Rudy Giuliani says he’s ‘very, very proud’ of actions after taking Arizona mug shot

    excerpt:

"After emerging on Monday from having his mug shot taken in connection with the fake 2020 electors case pending against him in Arizona, Rudy Giuliani boasted about having no regrets over his actions that led to the criminal charges against him.

“I’m very, very proud of it,” the former Donald Trump attorney and ex-mayor of New York City said as he left the state courthouse."
