A president should never say things like that, regardless of how upset he gets. Anyone else saying that nonsense, President Joe Biden, for example- they would avoid like the plague and find a way to impeach him over it.

Former spiritual advisor to Trump admits sex abuse with a minor for years.

Megachurch pastor and former Trump spiritual adviser admits sexual abuse

    excerpt:

"A Texas evangelical pastor and former spiritual adviser to Donald Trump has confessed to sexually assaulting a young girl in his past.

Robert Morris, a founding pastor of Dallas-based Gateway megachurch, was accused by an Oklahoma woman of sexual abuse in the 1980s, beginning when she was 12 and continuing until the age of 16.

Morris confirmed the allegations to a religious publication, the Christian Post.

In a statement to the Christian Post, Morris said: “When I was in my early 20s, I was involved in inappropriate sexual behavior with a young lady in a home where I was staying.”"

Trump Isn’t Wrong That Lots of People Like Dictatorship

    excerpt:

"What emerged in two interviews with Trump, and conversations with more than a dozen of his closest advisers and confidants, were the outlines of an imperial presidency that would reshape America and its role in the world.

To carry out a deportation operation designed to remove more than 11 million people from the country, Trump told me, he would be willing to build migrant detention camps and deploy the U.S. military, both at the border and inland.

He would let red states monitor women’s pregnancies and prosecute those who violate abortion bans. He would, at his personal discretion, withhold funds appropriated by Congress, according to top advisers.

He would be willing to fire a U.S. Attorney who doesn’t carry out his order to prosecute someone, breaking with a tradition of independent law enforcement that dates from America’s founding.

He is weighing pardons for every one of his supporters accused of attacking the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, more than 800 of whom have pleaded guilty or been convicted by a jury.

He might not come to the aid of an attacked ally in Europe or Asia if he felt that country wasn’t paying enough for its own defense.

He would gut the U.S. civil service, deploy the National Guard to American cities as he sees fit, close the White House pandemic-preparedness office, and staff his Administration with acolytes who back his false assertion that the 2020 election was stolen."

Paxton releases promotional video full of distortions and lies.

Paxton attended Trump's criminal trial in NY.

Texas AG Ken Paxton campaign ad mistakenly implicates Donald Trump

    excerpt:

"It turns out, however, according to a Raw Story analysis, that the news footage used to show a “dangerous open border,” as the video called it, was actually from November 2018 — during the middle of Republican Donald Trump’s presidency."

Trump tells billionaires he'll keep their taxes low at $50 million fundraising gala

    excerpt:

"Trump appeared to try to square raising a record-breaking amount of donations from the nation’s elite — a set that included billionaires such as sugar magnate José “Pepe” Fanjul Sr., oil baron Harold Hamm and Johnson & Johnson heir Woody Johnson — with a political movement fueled by populist themes.

“People are just wanting change,” he told reporters as he arrived at Paulson’s home. “The rich people want it. Poor people want it. Everybody wants change.”"

Jeffrey Clark is one of various figureheads who wants presidents to be able to consolidate power.

He's been immersed in truther narratives that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.

Clark is an un-indicted co-conspirator in Jack Smith's election subversion case against Trump.

Trump plots capture of DoJ in renewed assault on US justice system

    excerpt:

"In an article titled “The US Justice Department Is Not Independent”, Clark argues that the practice of avoiding direct contact between the White House and the attorney general that has pertained since the Carter administration must be swept away. “Under the constitutional system as it stands, DoJ independence does not exist,” he wrote.

This quasi legal doctrine has been dubbed the “unitary executive theory”, signifying the sole power of the president over all federal government affairs.

Clark was at the center of Trump’s most egregious attempt to seize control of DoJ decision-making during his first term. In January 2021, at the climax of the “stop the steal” campaign, Trump tried to make Clark acting attorney general in place of Jeffrey Rosen who was refusing to play along with his election denial conspiracy.

Clark, a relatively unknown justice official, was only stopped after several senior DoJ officials threatened to resign."

The infamous cabinet meeting where all of Trump's members lavishly praised him, including Pence.

A few years later, Trump nearly had Pence lynched at his riot at the Capitol and left him stranded in the basement of the Capitol for hours with his wife and daughter without ever calling him.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...once-every-12-seconds-for-3-minutes-straight/

    excerpt:

"Over nearly three minutes, Pence offered plaudit after plaudit after plaudit, praising Trump's vision, his words, his strategy and his results in light of the passage of tax cuts. By the end, Pence offered 14 separate commendations for Trump in less than three minutes -- math that works out to one every 12.5 seconds. And each bit of praise was addressed directly to Trump, who was seated directly across the table."

One of the members of Congress who was with his daughter at the Capitol during Trump's riot told her later that the next time she was at the Capitol with him that it wouldn't be like this.

The daughter replied that there wouldn't be a next time. She said she would never return to the Capitol.

There are plenty of cities I can recommend never visiting, but DC is one of the few where you are more likely to see cops with machine guns. Even the locals don't visit anything other than the Smithsonian. All the monuments are for the Tea Party to spit on.

Trump would be comfortable with a highly conservative, white, male VP like Vance and Bergum, but he also needs someone who will appeal to African-Americans and other minorities.

Trump could select a female or black person, but it seems he wouldn't be as comfortable personally with such a person in a high level position. Trump had few minorities in higher level positions in his administration.

Trump's cabinet is mostly white and male. What will that mean for policy?

Trump has been on a campaign of insulting Elaine Chao for years. He calls her 'Coco Chow'.

'Old Broken Crow' is the name Trump has given to Mitch McConnell, the husband of Elaine Chao.

Trump and McConnell are now friends again. They shook hands at the Capitol last week.

    Article from January 2023.

Everything Trump has said about Elaine Chao as she finally fires back

    excerpt:

"Does Coco Chow have anything to do with Joe Biden's Classified Documents being sent and stored in Chinatown?" Trump posted to Truth Social on Monday. "Her husband, the Old Broken Crow, is VERY close to Biden, the Democrats, and, of course, China. He gives them all whatever they want!"

Elaine Chao resigned from Trump's administration the day after his insurrection at the Capitol.

She was Secretary of Transportation in his cabinet.
