Indiana man sentenced to 30 months in prison for assaulting police during Capitol riot. 'It was our duty as patriots': Indiana man sentenced for assaulting police during Jan. 6 Capitol riot excerpt: "Following his arrest, Dale reportedly said that he had no “regrets” over his participation in the events that unfolded on Jan. 6 in the nation’s capital. “I’m not ashamed of being there. It was our duty as patriots,” he reportedly said during a news interview."

That sketch should be redone with Trump and Biden. Trump screaming for people (especially suburban housewives) to vote for him because he has 34 felony convictions while Biden sits behind him and giggles quietly.
Another one of Trump's 'victims' and 'heroes'. Utah man who beat police at Trump's riot at Capitol found guilty. -https://www.rawstory.com/january-6-odin-meacham/
He beat the police so hard that it broke the flag pole. Trump and his supporters will say it's ok because he didn't beat the officer with the American flag. He beat him with the pole.
It can't get too much more grotesque than that, other than Trump's rioter hugging and kissing the American flag (like Trump does) after beating the police officer with the pole.
Judge in Trump Documents Case Rejected Suggestions to Step Aside excerpt: "Judge Cannon’s decision was unusual in part because she intervened before there were any charges — treating Mr. Trump differently from typical targets of search warrants based on his supposed special status as a former president. She also directed the special master to consider whether some of the seized files should be permanently kept from investigators under executive privilege, a notion that was widely seen as dubious since it has never successfully been made in a criminal case. Prosecutors appealed to the Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, in Atlanta. In a repudiation, a three-judge panel that included two Trump appointees reversed her order and ruled that she never had legal authority to intervene in the first place."
In Cannon's mind, Trump has special status. Cannon's remarks in 2023 describe the documents case as being special because Trump's reputation as a former president is at stake. It shows her lack of experience and shallowness of her thoughts. Her behavior indicates she is still frustrated that she was overturned by the conservative 11th Circuit. In general, she's been coddling Trump and has been sassy at Jack Smith. Unusual is that Cannon was known to be tough on defendants in her appeals court work, yet she has been favorable to Trump.
It pays to be a convicted felon. Biden rakes in big bucks last month, but haul is far short of Trump's massive May fundraising excerpts: "The former president's campaign announced two and a half weeks ago that they and the RNC, fueled in part by the former president's guilty verdicts in his criminal trial, combined hauled in a stunning $141 million in fundraising in May." "The Trump cash announcement came in the wake of what his campaign showcased as "record-shattering" fundraising immediately after he was found guilty of all 34 felony counts in the first trial of a former or current president in the nation's history. The former president's campaign highlighted that in the first 24 hours following Thursday evening's verdict, they and the RNC hauled in nearly $53 million in fundraising, which counted towards May's total."
Trump does an about-face about Biden: from Biden supposedly not being able to put two sentences together to Biden being a great debater. Trump expects Biden to be a 'worthy debater' after spending months attacking his mental fitness excerpt: "Pointing to Biden's vice-presidential debate performance against former House Speaker Paul Ryan, who ran as the VP choice of Sen. Mitt Romney in his 2012 presidential campaign, Trump, in a rare moment, praised Biden. "All I can say is this, I watched him with Paul Ryan, and he destroyed Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan with the water, he was chugging water left and right … and he beat Paul Ryan. So, I'm not underestimating him. I'm not underestimating him. It is what it is." Trump’s comments are a departure from his previous rhetoric and come as his campaign advisers have warned that Biden may overperform on Thursday because expectations have been set low for him, though Trump himself has contributed to those conversations. "Crooked Joe Biden is the WORST debater I have ever faced - He can't put two sentences together!" Trump posted on his social media platform when he accepted Biden's debate proposal."

Trump is promoting Louisiana requiring the Bible to be displayed in all public schools. Trump Shares ‘LOVE’ for Commandments Being Forced on Schools excerpt: “All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many,” Trump said in a video advertising the potentially blasphemous product. “It’s my favorite book.”
The Ten Commandments Trump probably couldn't recite (and certainly not obey). He couldn't recite a verse from the Bible (the ones he's selling for $60 a piece and started promoting the week of Easter). The Bible Trump held upside-down during a PR stunt at a church across the street from the White House that his daughter Ivanka had in a $1,500 handbag. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/03/28/us/donald-trump-bible-christianity-cec/index.html excerpt: “As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to get a copy of the God Bless The USA Bible.”
Trump says he will issue green cards to foreign nationals who complete a degree at U.S. colleges. https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/20/politics/trump-green-cards-gradutate-college/index.html
Wow- from the man that has broken every single one of the Ten Commandments…… (And yes, including “thou shall not kill” - he’s responsible for those deaths that happened during Jan 6 because of his wicked tongue spreading vicious lies a deceit, and the Covid deaths that occurred while he was in office- because of his neglect to take the virus serious and take necessary precautions to protect the American people.)
Trump is missing out on opportunity. He could have stuck his nose in the Louisiana bill and added that his face must be displayed in all public classrooms.
No flimsy argument is too flimsy for Judge Cannon. This week she listened to Ed Meese from the Reagan administration tell her in court why he thinks Jack Smith doesn't have the power to prosecute Trump. Cannon should bring in Mellissa Carone. She was at a MI legislature meeting (with Giuliani next to her passing gas loudly) after the 2020 election telling officials she thought the food trucks at the election ballot counting center were used to sneak in tens of thousands of illegal votes for Biden because she never saw food being taken off the trucks. 'Why are we here?' Judge Cannon buried for wasting everyone's time with needless hearing
