Raiklin is affiliated with Michael Flynn, whom Trump pardoned.

Trump’s ‘secretary of retribution’ has a ‘target list’ of 350 people he wants arrested

    excerpt:

"Under Raiklin’s objectively bizarre plan, the sympathetic sheriffs would deputize some 75,000 military veterans — veterans he claims have been pushed out of service because they refused to comply with COVID-19 vaccine mandates — to carry out the arrests.

Raiklin has gone so far as to pitch his plan to a group of far-right sheriffs who met in Las Vegas in April.

Public records requests filed by Raw Story with dozens of county sheriff offices reveal that word of Raiklin’s efforts has reached the email inboxes of sheriffs from Wisconsin to Oklahoma."

Trump taxpayer-funded welfare to U.S. farmers that tried to mitigate the damage he did to them with his trade wars.

He boasted about it at his rallies during the 2020 presidential election campaign.

Trump administration farmer bailouts - Wikipedia

    excerpt:

"To improve trade competitiveness, the Trump administration revealed a plan to help US farmers in the form of state aid.,[8] with a planned bailout program of $12 billion state aid to US farmers suffering from the US-China trade war. In 2018 Trump administration introduced $16 billion (~$19.1 billion in 2023) of new trade aid.[9][10] In 2019, the Donald Trump administration increased the bailout to $16 billion (~$18.8 billion in 2023).[11]"

Temu and Shein ship consumer goods direct from China. They are duty free deminimus purchases ( less than $600.00 )

Now Amazon wants to compete by also shipping direct from China. They can eliminate American warehouse jobs.

An emboldened Trump could use the military to assist his rioters and attack members of Congress with the help of the Supreme Court immunity ruling that shields him from prosecution. Trump would say he's using his official duties as president to make sure the election was done fairly.

During his first term, Trump was skirting the issue of using the military by using other government groups such as ICE to go after protesters he didn't like.

Trump used the National Guard from GOP run states against protesters he didn't like in Democratic run states by having GOP governors say that the NG was on a training mission so that they could be used out of state where Trump wanted them and without Trump invoking the Insurrection Act.

    Article from may 2020.

'No Blame?' ABC News finds 54 cases invoking 'Trump' in connection with violence, threats, alleged assaults.

    excerpt:

"President Donald Trump has repeatedly distanced himself from acts of violence in communities across America, dismissing critics who point to his rhetoric as a potential source of inspiration or comfort for anyone acting on even long-held beliefs of bigotry and hate.

"I think my rhetoric brings people together," he said last year, four days after a 21-year-old allegedly posted an anti-immigrant screed online and then allegedly opened fire at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, killing 22 and injuring dozens of others.

But a nationwide review conducted by ABC News has identified at least 54 criminal cases where Trump was invoked in direct connection with violent acts, threats of violence or allegations of assault."

In 2024, Trump has gone far beyond his rhetoric in 2020.

He's coddling his rioters who attacked the Capitol and promising to pardon them (after he used ICE and the National Guard to go after protesters he didn't like in places like Portland).

Jan. 6 shadows the 2024 campaign, but not on the debate stage. That alarms democracy advocates

    excerpt:

"We are four months away from the first presidential election since a violent attack on our Capitol. ... And the man responsible for that — Donald Trump — is currently the leading candidate,” said Ian Bassin, executive director of the advocacy group Protect Democracy, which works to counter authoritarianism.

“You’d think that alone would be disqualifying, or at a minimum would be the central focus of the election,” he said.

And yet, Bassin said, the topic was “relegated to an afterthought” in the debate, “and the current president is struggling to press the case on why this issue should be of existential importance.”

Trump still hasn't said what he was doing at the White House for hours while the riot at the Capitol ensued. He said this year that he will let the public know at an appropriate time.

That should have been a main topic of discussion at the June 2024 presidential debate.

Trump might as well bring up all four potential VP's at his RNC convention and do an Apprentice TV show style selection of them during the convention that includes the classic 'Your Fired' statement.

Giuliani's bankruptcy case has been dismissed by a judge.

Giuliani was abusing the bankruptcy proceedings with underhanded maneuvers.

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/12/politics/judge-dismisses-giuliani-bankruptcy-case/index.html

    excerpt:

"Lane highlighted in his 22-page opinion that Giuliani hadn’t provided any insight whatsoever into the books of companies he solely owns, and that have taken in thousands of dollars in wire transfers in recent weeks. The judge also said Giuliani hasn’t been fully transparent with his creditors – such as by not fully explaining on time an upcoming book contract he has, or keeping his personal earnings from a radio show and podcast coming into one of the corporate accounts.

“Mr. Giuliani has failed to provide an accurate and complete picture of his financial affairs in the six months that this case has been pending,” Lane wrote in his decision Friday. “The lack of financial transparency is particularly troubling given concerns that Mr. Giuliani has engaged in self-dealing and that he has potential conflicts of interest that would hamper the administration of his bankruptcy case.""
