Trump mistaking Nikki Haley for Pelosi was strange.

    It wasn't a slip-of-the-tongue name interchange mistake..

Trump ranted on and on about how Nikki Haley (actually Pelosi) supposedly rejected the 10,000 troops that Trump supposedly offered her (actually Pelosi, not Haley).

Haley was running against Trump in the GOP primary.

Pelosi is former Democratic Speaker of the House.

Trump needs a speaker in his ear where messages are sent to him by radio link that keep correcting him on his repeated mistaken people gaffs that rag on for minutes.

Trump's campaign advisor said it didn't make any difference whether Trump could distinguish Haley from Pelosi.

That's disturbing. What else might Trump not be able to distinguish when pushing the nuke button.

Nikki Haley questions Trump's mental fitness after he appears to confuse her for Nancy Pelosi

    excerpt:

“It’s a distinction without a difference. It’s Nikki and Nancy,” Trump campaign senior adviser Chris LaCivita said to reporters Saturday night. “What’s the difference?”

Trump and his campaign people said it didn't matter that he kept incorrectly referring to Biden as 'Obama'.

Trump claimed he was doing it on purpose because they're both supposedly the same.

"In a 14-page ruling issued Saturday, Senior Judge Robert Pegg turned down arguments from the prominent journalism awards panel that their decision to bestow the national reporting prize on the staffs of the two newspapers in 2018 amounted to a statement of “pure opinion” rather than fact."

One guest was killed and three injured during the assassination attempt on Trump

During Trump's riot at the Capitol, 149 police officers were injured, five people died in the immediate aftermath, and eight more died of suicide in the months that followed.

It's not enjoyable being on the receiving end of another person's mental derangement and violence. Trump got a small taste of it.

Fight! Fight! Fight! ... for attention.

Trump and His Allies Adapt to a New Role: Fighting for Attention

    excerpt:

"In the three days since President Biden announced he was quitting the 2024 race, Mr. Trump has entered foreign territory. He has been largely crowded out from “earned media,” or organic news coverage that spreads rapidly among voters and costs campaigns nothing to produce. And his message has been, for the moment, scrambled as Democrats have replaced an old, frail white man with a younger Black woman who is campaigning energetically and giving new life to the Democratic base.

Vice President Kamala Harris, whom Mr. Biden endorsed on Sunday and around whom Democrats rapidly coalesced, has enjoyed a political hot streak that Mr. Biden’s advisers could have only dreamed of during the 2024 campaign.

She has brought in more than $120 million in new donations."

During a speech in Charlotte, NC, Trump said Harris wants to outlaw red meat, and that means more cows and no more people.

Trump brought up Hannibal Lecter again in the speech.

Harris campaign hits Trump: 'This guy shouldn't be president ever again'

    excerpt:

“An erratic Donald Trump offers only chaos, fear, and hate. The dangerous threats of an old man don’t create jobs, protect our rights, or keep us safe. Vice President Kamala Harris offers something different: freedom, lower costs, and opportunity for all,” Harris spokesperson James Singer said.

Trump wants Iran obliterated if he's assassinated.

'Completely unhinged': Trump stuns with demand that Iran be 'obliterated'

    excerpt:

"If they do 'assassinate President Trump,' which is always a possibility, I hope that America obliterates Iran, wipes it off the face of the Earth," Trump wrote. "If that does not happen, American Leaders will be considered 'gutless' cowards!"
