Here's one of the problems that went by the wayside, when this deranged individual first showed his teeth. And I quote ......"The 14-year-old suspected of killing four people at Apalachee High School was interviewed in connection with threats to carry out a school shooting last year, authorities said."

What the hell is the matter with you and where are you getting this crap?

    Demos are dancing where?
Where does it say that an AR style weapon was used and not that it makes a difference?
And what the hell does this mean....."Notice how he used this tragedy to further his political agenda?"

People are dead because of this little asshole, period!

You're dazed and confused alright, by your own admission, so at least you got something right!

    Shoescam said:
I was referring to his remark that some Democrats are happy that a mass shooting happened right before the debate. The phrase "dancing in the streets " means "to be to be extremely happy about something that has happened:" ~ Cambridge Dictionary

(Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey)
AR style assault weapons seem to be a very popular weapon that is used by many mass shooters. They are highly deadly and totally unnecessary in the hands of civilians. They have a cult following of individuals and groups who often seem to be violent, afraid, and sometimes highly mentally unstable.

My statement, "Notice how he used this tragedy to further his political agenda?"
Was in reference to Shoescam using this tragedy to make fun of Kamala Harris' laugh and smile. "....will Kamala cackle and laugh or have that stupid smile when she uses this for politics?"
And to point out how he is accusing Harris of planning to do something he just did.

The name of the accused is Colt Gray. In situations like this, where the kid is a suspect and the investigation is in its earliest stages, especially where a juvenile is the suspect, the authorities don't release the name--to avoid a false accusation.

So your question about this all too familiar, continuing American tragedy is whether Kamala will cackle and politicians will question the role of AR-15s in the continued slaughter of innocent kids again? How do you think the situation should be handled by political leaders? Thoughts and prayers?

It was in fact an AR-style weapon, in the hands of a 14 year-old. Where does a kid get such a weapon? The kid was investigated for making an on-line threat to shoot up a school. The police investigated but had no probable cause for an arrest. But his folks were put on notice. His Dad admitted to having hunting guns in the home, but his son didn't have "unsupervised access". Hmmmm.

You seem to suggest that this case should be treated in isolation. A deranged individual went on a rampage and should be dealt with by the criminal justice system--period. But we have so many now who have gone that route. The deterrent effect of a prison sentence doesn't seem to be solving the problem. Neither do thoughts and prayers.

If there was no probable cause for arrest, no arrest could be made.

The problem, it seems to me, is a culture that glorifies guns (assault style in particular), a culture comfortable with violent mass murders, and a failing nation wide mental health intervention program.

Well, until we make failing to secure a weapon from a minor a felony and start prosecuting those cases, nothing much will change. Yeah, you might get a misdemeanor charge, but you're still going to need to defend yourself from a wrongful death civil suit, which, you will lose.

"After Mr. Arroyo, 39, was taken into custody without incident, the authorities found a cache of weapons including multiple long rifles, shotguns, handguns and an illegal assault weapon.
Pictures from the scene posted to social media by the sheriff’s office showed a large amount of ammunition and what appeared to be at least one bulletproof vest." California Man Arrested After Shooting Spree Kills at Least 80 Animals
Appalling! I guess we'll find out what he had against the animals. I'm glad the authorities caught him before he could move on to humans, but the guy is obviously too dangerous to be walking the streets. He is a convicted felon and wasn't allowed to have those weapons. A lot of good that did!

His father bought him an AR-15, after he was questioned for threatening a school shooting.

Yeah. Dad must have thought after getting the news: "Thanks for giving me a great idea for a Christmas gift for my son! An AR-15! I'm sure he'll love it !" The parents of Ethan Crumbley, the Oxford, Michigan, school shooter, got 10 to 15 years for their negligence in letting their son have unfettered access to the murder weapon. Maybe Colt's Dad will get the same.

He needs to get something, even if he didn't do anything illegal. Being that stupid should be a crime within itself.
And if I were him, I would be moving ASAP under another name. That is if the law doesn't give him a change of address.

So much for all the other bullshit about 2nd amendment rights. What a senseless tragedy. How long will this nation be held hostage by the dangerous and organized gun crowd?

Apparently, Mom was also a piece of work, too, with multiple criminal convictions for drugs and petty offenses and drug, as well as a civil suit for passing a bad check. And the parents were separated and going thru a nasty divorce at the time of the shooting. The kid was living with Dad. With parents like that, who needs enemies?
