Trump needs to stop his trade wars which he issues unilaterally without Congressional approval. They cause consumers to pay a higher price twice: the tariffs themselves and the supply-line disruptions that they cause.

Instead, Trump wants corporate socialism dictated by him by declaring national emergencies for what he says will be a program to cut energy costs in half.

 

Trump has said he wants interest rates zero or negative. That will increase inflation because of the increased demand for goods. Trump's words were, "Give me some of that money."

The interest rates were lowered too much during the pandemic and it was part of the reason for inflation during the recovery from the pandemic.

Trump plans to visit Springfield, OH and Aurora, CO.

Perhaps he will finally follow through on one of his 'in about two weeks' ventures.

 

Trump's campaign has descended into doing campaign stops in selected cities to stir up trouble with his anti-immigrant rhetoric.

 

Nikki Haley doesn't seem to be involved much in the Trump campaign. It's been Vance and Loomer on the campaign trail.

Haley would have been helpful to his campaign, especially in light of Harris becoming the nominee. Haley would have brought at least a small amount of rationality back to the Trump campaign and offset Harris' appeal to women and minorities. Haley's parents were from India. Harris' grandparents and mother were from India.

 

On behalf of Trump, Graham visits Nebraska to try to convince the governor to call a special legislative session that would change Nebraska's electoral vote apportionment to winner-take-all which could give Trump an extra electoral vote.

I guess tRump missed a few weeks at his economics classes. Nobody today has zero or negative rates for anybody. Those low rates were the only thing that kept his economy going....so all his corporate friends were flush with dough to throw around....like mergers and acquisitions....practically constant in the semiconductor biz then with free money.

 

That place is like a foreign country. Once you cross the Alabama line, it's like 1950 all over again.

 

In April 2024, Democrats said they could change Maine's apportionment of electoral votes to winner-take-all if the Republicans tried to change Nebraska's apportionment to winner-take -all.

Trump seems like he's asking for another assassination attempt.

 

Springfield Republican mayor claims emergency powers to deal with the problems caused by Trump's rhetoric.

If it happens, he would probably blame the mayor of Springfield and Haitians.

Plus his usual blaming of Biden and Harris for the assassination attempts for saying he's a threat to democracy (which he is).

 

Trump apparently still hasn't published the flight manifest of the helicopter ride that he said former SF mayor Brown was on (who wasn't on the flight).

He said he had the flight manifest and talked like he would publish it to prove himself right. It's been six weeks.

 

During a campaign stop in NY this week, Trump pretended that he cares about the 9/11 memorial (after he and his entourage pushed aside an employee at the Arlington cemetery to promote his campaign with a photo-op which is a violation of cemetery rules).
