Please re-read the original post. We made our choice because the alternatives were just so much worse. The “lunatic fringe” just over played their hand and we lost sympathy and patience for them.

Reasonable people of good will all used to agree that we should be an open and inclusive society. But no, that wasn’t good enough. Power-mad leftists and their coalition of maladaptive deviants had to demand ever more than tolerance and equality. They made us “normies” into the enemy. They pushed the pendulum too far, without care or comprehension of the natural and inevitable consequence.

I have little doubt that tolerance and equality will be on offer again from people of good will. I also have little doubt that it will be soundly rejected by the left. Oh well.

It's pretty obvious to anybody who doesn't fall so far left on purpose, that they go clear off the map. And no amount of hysterical accusations worked at all this time nobody felt intimidated or guilty or like they were even supposed to pretend for anybody. That was really the best part.

There was no olive branch that I’m aware of. Are you bothered by the descriptor of “maladaptive deviants”? If there is another, equally accurate descriptor of the various types of people that the left has convinced are victims of every type of real or imagined injustice, then please share it.

 

No they just said the simple truth? They're kinda lower functioning people easy to guide to self-defeating?
